I’m done with this place. The piece of gravel in my Ty Cobb Salad is the last straw. I hope I didn’t Crack my tooth.

This place was not good. Ordered the steak dinner rare. It came back burnt was like eating charcoal. I will not be coming back. Everyones dinner was subpar for the price. Not happy about it at all. Then the wait staff and management gave me a hard time about taking the steak dinner off my bill. I ate one bite of the stake.

Seems like a good place to eat. Service & food was good. Will go there again. Not sure why so many bad reviews. Almost didn’t go because of bad reviews but glad we did. What ever was wrong must have been fixed, good food friendly people and fair prices.

Tried to come in for a drink at 9pm. Hours are til 10 every where online. There was a couple that had just placing their order as we were walking in and we were turned away saying they are closing at 9 now.

I really like this place, it is clean and has good food, especially that bacon blue burger! Yum! We’ve always had excellent service in the actual bar area, but it has been hit and miss in the other portion of the restaurant.

We stopped in this morning for breakfast. we had an omelette, chicken fried steak, and a big massive cinnamon roll for a kid. I also got a Bloody Mary, it was good. however when the food came out, that’s when it all went downhill. your service was amazing… very nice. the cinnamon roll was horrible and she comp’d us for that. I did not complain about the rest of our food because she was a nice waitress. however dear management, please fire your cooks! save your awesome looking restaurant and fire your cooks! You know it’s a bad sign when you walk into a restaurant and it’s empty… please save your biz. Fire the cooks!

Just moved to Oregon City and this has become one of my new favorite spots! Food is delicious for both breakfast and lunch and the service is fast and friendly. Their servers always seem to check in just when you need them(which in my opinion is an art that has not been mastered by most). Great place to watch a game as well! Overall great experience time and time again!

Last night was my first/last visit to a Lil Cooperstown. It was chosen by friends — there were 5 of us — wanting a place to meet up after a school program nearby. We arrived half an hour before closing 1030pm on a Friday. We were greeted in a friendly manner and told we would NOT be seated. «Its been dead like this all night, and I told the kitchen to close up. « There were a handful of tables seated with patrons. I was embarrassed for my friend who tried persisting: «But *we are here…». He was told we still would not be served. We went a quarter mile down the road to another place(also closing in 30 minutes). They sat us, served us, and remained open late because they were filled with happy customer$.

I’ve gotta comment on the SOUP! Yes I said SOUP! A very sweet waitress wouldn’t let up until we tried the«chicken mushroom Merlot“soup. She brought us samples and holy moly that stuff was amazing! I’m not a restaurant soup guy, but I’m thinking a little harder about going that way after trying this stuff. We always get great service here. My wife is the one who always wants to come here. We both enjoy a quick happy hour night out. It’s close to home, and just works for us. I’m wondering if they improved the training program? Others have some trouble, but stick with what you like I guess. There are plenty of things for us to enjoy the place.

Breakfast was really really good(why they got a two) they were kinda busyish but still service sucked, they are not happy people and seemed to hate that they have a busy place. First time going there. I had a couple questions about what I was ordering but they acted like I was slowing them down and I was bothering them. Customers are your money smiling goes a long way.

The food is good, nothing spectacular though. The service is ALWAYS extremely slow. My co-worker and I went there for lunch a week ago and by the time we got our food we had to have them box it up because it had taken them 50 minutes to bring it out. The wait time is always VERY slow, but his was just ridiculous. It is not abnormal to have to 30 minutes to get your food when they are slow. It is also not abnormal for your waitress to forget about your table all together. The food is not worth the wait.

It all started last October– baseball playoffs. My husband and I decide we will go to Lil Cooperstown– a restaurant named for where baseball hall of fame resides. They must have baseball on, right? Wrong. Every TV(at least 10 in the place) is showing a Seahawks game. When we asked if they could put baseball on one of the tvs in their baseball themed restaurant, we were told no, there’s a Seahawks game on. Are you kidding me! This place does not deserve the name Lil Cooperstown. So fast forward to last night we decide to go there and watch the Angels Mariners game, grab a beer, share some Mudpie. Games on, cool. This is going well so far. One minute. Two minutes. Five minutes go by no one has acknowledged us. We were sitting at the bar. Five different employees walked by U.S.- some multiple times. No one said hi. No one said we will be right with you. So we left. So really I should be thanking this place because we went home, drank our own beer, ate our own ice cream, watched the game from the comfort of our couch on our own tv and saved $ 30. Thanks Lil Cooperstown. Never going there again.

We had dinner there yesterday(4⁄18), and I am sorry to say that we experienced such a poor level of service, I can’t remember anything worse! It took over 20 minutes to take our order, and well over 30 minutes to get served. Had to ask for silverware twice, it was horrible, and the place was not that busy, it was 5PM. I will avoid this place in the future.

No meat on half of my $ 13 french dip. Fries were old and barely warm. Server was not going to take it off my bill until I asked why I’m getting charged full price for half a sandwich. Been there 3 times. First 2 the waitress never checked in after our food was delivered until we asked for the check. No drink refills empty beer and forgot side stuff like ranch and tarter sauce. This last one took the cake. Everyone in Oregon city talks and their reputation is terrible. Won’t be long till they have no customers any more.

Gosh. I have such high hopes for this place. I can see they are proactively trying to improve their menu. I think what the issue is, is that their staff needs more supervision and training. Some of the servers are super friendly and attentive, and others need some work. I don’t think it’s because they are poor employees, I believe it’s because many of them are young and need direction. Yesterday I ordered the sesame chicken salad. Today, I ordered it again(because it was literally that delicious). Today, my salad was literally half the size it was yesterday. The sweet and tanginess I loved yesterday was spicy and abrasive today. The chicken slices were too large to eat and it was just as if I ordered something entirely different. Consistency seems to be a common denominator and to be consistent, you need training. Perhaps there needs to be more direction at making dishes in ensuring everyone is making them the same. Maybe there is already a formula for the amount of greens and how much spice, but the employees need to be supervised better to ensure accuracy. Either way, I can see Cooperstown is trying but it seems they are seriously lacking in the training and supervision. I never see a manager around except for the middle aged guy with glasses. To be honest, I see him flirting with young waitresses more often than I see him working. He’s creeped me out on a number of occassions. I haven’t seen him too recently though. I hope they figure it out before it’s too late to save. There’s a lot of potential here.

Like Leilani. I have tried this place 4 times. Every time the food is borderline disgusting. I was there last Friday night. My friend and I ordered the Mac and Cheese. It was like macaroni in a pool of cheese whiz and bits of old nasty bacon. I will never eat there again I don’t know how they stay in business.

Until I can finish my review — food OK, service blew! The night started out as followed: I arrived and was greeted by a blond gal and asked to be seated in the bar. I was seated in the bar and given two menus as I was waiting for a friend to arrive. I was greeted by the bartender and while during my stay, I found out her name was Kaitlyn. I asked for a beer and quickly received one During the first five minutes, the«blond gal» was talking with Kaitlyn and said I just can’t stop laughing, giggling”, Kaitlyn responded, are you high. The«blond gal» said«no, it’s been like two days». My friend arrived, ordered a beer and we chatted., Kaitlyn came back and we ordered our meal and received it in a timely manner. During this period, the restaurant has gotten slower and your employees, well, pull your cameras. Not one, two, three but four where all seated around a table talking, not working and just«hanging out» sitting back but one employee, did, lock herself self of her vehicle which was clocked off. During this period, you had customers come inside the restaurant, wait for a few minutes before any one of those girls got up and helped them. Twice, in my party, we wanted beers… The first, my friend had an empty glass for at leave five minutes until I asked a male server whom he finally relayed it to Katiyn, whom was sitting on her ass, that finally got up and said«you need another round» and got us beers. We drank those and wanted more. We had to ask someone else for another round who in turn, got relayed to our server. The server when back to the bar, checked her pink phone which was to the left of the register, on-top of a napkin and then proceeded to fill up the beers. Nice! On a positive note, unfortunately, I don’t know her name but a younger girl, wearing a red blazer jersey with Matthews on the back worked her butt off and should be commended for her dedicated service. From the time I walked in and left, that server keep going. Back and forth and wasn’t involved in the«click» that was going on. So impressed by her skills! The things I hear tonight from start to finish. From your employees who were getting«paid» to work and sitting while there were chairs not pushed in, tables not cleaned, leaves, dirt and wheat thins on the ground, is just wrong! I’d be happy to talk with you in person, e-mail or coffee about how you’d like to fix this, if you choose to fix this that is. It’s your operation after-all. With that being said, I will not step foot inside this store again and will move my business elsewhere. And yes, I took one picture of your employees sitting down. I’m looking forward to your prompt reply. End Unilocal review here

Cooperstown seems to be hit or miss with me. I still love their breakfast menu, and pretty good burgers but I am increasingly disappointed with their entrees. I took a risk trying a $ 13 plate of macaroni and cheese only to be appalled. It was so greasy and curdled, I could not finish it. No matter how many times I hope that their grilled cheese will be as delicious as they describe it, it never is. The Chimichanga was poor at best, I do not recommend it to anyone, let alone someone who appreciates Mexican food. The crab cakes had a rancid taste to them. I do not think it was the crab. The sour unpleasant taste seemed to be in the breading, perhaps the oil they were fried in? They were also severely overcooked. I did enjoy the fresh dill garnish. I think that decreasing the size of their menu would help them focus on preparing higher quality entrees. I have to comment though that I have never really had bad service here. The staff always seems friendly, even when the restaurant is packed. UPDATE3÷15− The Deluxe Grilled Cheese was pretty good this time. The side salad was great. Lots of fresh dark, leafy greens. UPDATE5⁄23 — The service is so slow today. There are only a few tables and still we wait along with a couple beside us. I do not understand this establishment. Our Irish Coffee was horrible. We waited ten minutes for a glass of water. They brought out the wrong order so I did not get to have breakfast with my companions. I did not receive a apology, our waitress just walked away. After today I have no desire to support Cooperstown. I am still hungry. Never again.
