This place is so open and cozy at the same time. Every time we come here it’s been empty, but I’m sure it fills up at times. We love the little couch and table corner. The first time we came here, they had some kids books that my toddler loved and kept him busy. The baristas are always really nice. My iced coffee with vanilla is WAAAAYYYY too sweet, I keep forgetting to ask for less syrup. Excited to try their gelato too. We’ll keep coming back for the friendly service and to try the rest of the menu!

Had an iced americano since they don’t offer iced coffee or cold brew, just drip coffee over ice. Americano was good. Atmosphere was a little sparse. There was a warm lit Christmas tree. Jazz tunes. Just kinda bleak. Maybe a few coffee table books. Or a different seating arrangement. I’d go back.

The customer service is great so plus one star for that! The fruit was over ripe and still full price and the coffee making skill is stuck in the 90s. I ordered a cappuccino and the foam was stiff and cheap. She used a spoon to stir the foam and the milk together instead of steaming a dense wet foam to begin with. Ew.

Love their coffee and paninis. Baristas are always sweet and on point. Comfy seats and lots of options. Quaint building. Parking may be a little tricky at times. Overall my favorite coffee place in this area!

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and one of the best mochas I’ve had! Definitely will continue to come in here whenever I’m in town.

Great coffee and cute shop but the baristas bashing their(absent) boss and coworkers in front of customers was just rude and uncomfortable. I would come back for the coffee but only to pick up a coffee… I won’t hang out here.

Coffee Rush is still very good, but their prices have gone up recently. Definitely more expensive then Dutch Bros, but they have a great praline latte and their service is always great. It’s definitely the place I go if I want to sit down with my coffee.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and clean. I got a soy vanilla latte, it was horrible. The coffee tasted as if the grounds had already been used a few times. I ended up chucking it in the bin. I will go back for tea or gelato. Like I said the atmosphere was great and also the people were very nice.

Coffee Rush on Main St. is hands down the best place to get coffee in Oregon City. Singer Hill always has a line, and it’s ALWAYS a line of people who wait until they get to the register before beginning to think about what they might like, asking their countless, pointless questions about every item on the menu, and then spending 20 minutes trying to find their checkbook and pen. The Courthouse place has the annoying music, and muddled ‘is it a bar, restaurant, or coffee shop’ vibe. There are always the coffee chain places, which aren’t worth mentioning. Coffee Rush has the best customer service, really good coffee, and a clean, spacious atmosphere. And never the annoying long line or wait!

Good place to hang out and grab coffee, read Willamette Week in downtown OC, but best of all is the gelato… great gelato!

I’ve never had gelato until I went to coffee rush and I can definitely say I do not regret that decision. Their fruit flavors are all made fat and dairy free so it’s a perfect choice even for vegans and people who are trying to cut down on fat. I asked for a recommendation on coffee since I’m not an avid coffee drinker and was suggested a blackberry latte by the hostess and she was spot on about my taste.

Coffee is great! Baristas are great! Sandwiches & Gelato are great too! Don’t go to ‘bucks or duchies in OC, go here! You won’t be sorry!

Only been here a couple times, but so far I really like it. Relaxing environment with good seating and nice service. out of 2 visits, one coffee was great and the other was decent. I got a caramel mocha both times. I also tried the gelato which was great and got some yogurt and granola and mixed them, which was amazing. I liked how they gave a larger container for the granola so you could easily mix them if you bought them both. Was a very tasty treat. Last, the location is pretty good if you just want to get some coffee and walk around town.

Busy on weekdays(it is very near the Courthouse) but not so busy that you stand forever in line. A nice, relaxing place on the weekends. Good coffee that is well prepared by a friendly staff. The owners are wonderful people as well. Hungry? They have several types of filled pastries, bagels, oatmeals, doughnuts and cookies on hand, and can make warm breakfast sandwiches right in front of you. They even have a panini press to heat some of their foods. Try the turkey or ham Zippy! Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Here’s the thing that sets them apart: they make(on premises) and serve absolutely marvelous Gelato. Over a dozen flavors most days. My wife and I go there practically every Saturday morning, rain or shine(the have limited outside seating if you want the al fresco experience) and have done so for almost four years. Parking in downtown Oregon City can be a nightmare on weekdays until about 5:30, but early evening and weekends… no worries.

My quest to find a great coffeehouse in Oregon City has been a bit of a slog. I’ve really tried to like Singer Hill and Caufield House, since both use Stumptown beans and are housed in pretty spaces. They are going for the upscale coffee experience, but I’ve never had a great experience at either. Coffee Rush has become my local favorite by default, but I’m not the biggest fan of their beans. The servers are nice and parking is relatively easy since they have a couple spots in a private lot and meters in downtown O.C. give you 6 minutes for nickle or 30 minutes for a quarter. The space appears comfortable, but I’m usually in a rush, so I’ve always taken my drinks to go. In Oregon City, I always wish I could combine certain elements from each spot to form a great place. Favorite space — Singer Hill Favorite location — Caufield House Favorite kids drinks — Dutch Bros. Favorite drive-thru — Eden Way My affection still goes to the quaint and quirky Happyrock Coffee Shop just down the way in Gladstone. Nothing in O.C. can quite compare.
