We found a ton of beautiful, full trees at Beck’s this year. Prices were about average for the area. We picked out a 7′ Douglas Fir and paid $ 20 plus $ 2 for bailing. I took off one star because it was difficult to get help/direction when we first arrived. The tree shaker also broke while we were there, so we came home with a super buggy tree.

We had a great experience here. Oregon has tons of Christmas tree options when it comes to that time of year to hunt for the perfect tree. My family always gets noble firs, we think they look the best and are just lovely. What makes this farm great is: –easy access, plenty of parking –friendly staff/family –the dogs that oversee everything! So cute! –beautiful Christmas trees at a decent price. –free hot cocoa –the sheep! –little gift shop area Overall this was the first time we went here for a tree, and we’ll likely be back!

Christmas season is upon us, this means the grand ritual of hunting for, cutting, or just buying a Christmas tree. In Oregon there are many options for you cut places. I found Becks’ Farm to be a great place to go, in the sea of many options. First of all the staff is very friendly. They pointed us in the direction of the trees we wanted as well as a special bonus of telling us all about their sheep(when you buy wool it tells which sheep it came from). They have three types of firs, douglas(they grow wild in Oregon, of course they have these!) Nobel and Grand. We were after five to six footers. The douglas are $ 10, and they go up from there, I believe Grand was $ 15, and Nobel for $ 20. They also have kids trees(small one-two feet) for $ 5. They will shake and bundle the tree for an extra $ 2. Don’t worry about bringing out a saw. They proved them along with cardboard that you can kneel on. When you are done cutting the tree return to the shed to pay and enjoy a cup of free hot chocolate or coffee.
