Smith Hotel Bed & Breakfast

Best B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit and the best part were the hosts… Mike and Rochelle (aka, Rocky). They made me feel like family during my stay and the breakfast cooked by Rochelle was fabulous. There is so much history in the house and the area is so beautiful. I’ll never forget my wonderful stay there and I feel so very fortunate to have made great new friends in Mike and Rochelle.

This is a wonderfully welcoming old-​fashioned B&B, originally a rooming house from the 1920’s. The rooms are spacious, with big comfortable beds and period furnishings along with satellite TV and WiFi, several opening onto a covered porch facing the sunrise. The property is filled with fruit trees and flowers, a fish pond and hummingbird nest, and a multi-​level deck out back. Hosts Rochelle & Mike could not be nicer, providing sightseeing tips and directions along with a wonderful breakfast spread (good coffee, juice, granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, and homemade banana-​nut waffles the day we were there), and even cut up an apple for my daughters to feed the horses next door. We were only passing through, but I would very happily spend a week here seeing the local sights.
