The care of the physician’s is top notch. But anytime other than prior to 10:00 am you will be waiting. Waited for 90 minutes. Dr. was great. Apoplectic for being behind. But still…
Facility is fantastic.

So, one day my youngest son tried to help out around the house. He used Pledge furniture polish without asking and waxed the stairs. Sure enough his older brother JC, slipped on the stairs and hit his knee on the wall. JC injured his left knee and that’s how we ended up here at UBMD Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. I called the office for an appointment and we set for the date within the same week. The receptionist told me to come 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork.
It is located on Big Tree Road, Orchard Park. The building is hard too see from the street because it’s all the waaaaaay in the back. The entryway is right next to Tim Horton and there’s a little sign for UBMD OSM/​Great Lakes image. Just follow the signs for the entrance to the office. The building looks new and there are tons of parking available.
The waiting area is nice and spacious for patients. They put flat screen TVs on every corners, which reminds me of Best Buy. We didn’t wait long at all until we saw the doctor.
We were seen by Dr. Jeremy Doak, a pediatric Orthopedic surgeon. He introduced himself before he examine JC. He reviewed the X-​ray I brought from MASH urgent care and ordered an MRI. On the same day after JC went for the MRI, Dr. Doak called and told us that JC needed surgery. Great! So we set up the date and time for the procedure and the office sent me some pre-​op instruction to fill out.
I must say that this facility offers a great customer service. Dr. Doak was very nice and helpful with my son. He explained how the surgery would be, the recovery, the benefit and the disadvantage if JC didn’t have surgery. From the receptionist, the Physician Assistant, and the MD himself, they really were wonderful. The doctor even called me back when I called and left a message with questions and concerns.
If I ever need to take my kids to an Orthopedic (no more injury, please), I would come here again. I just wished that the wait to speak with the receptionist on the phone wouldn’t take 20 minutes. Good thing the doctor’s secretary gave me her direct number so I could call her or the doctor without going through the main line. But overall, I had a great experience here.
