Hoppers Professional Tree Care

Emit, the owner of Hopper called us looking for work at the end of the year. We really didn’t need work, but had a few trees on our yard that were dropping leaves in our vegetable garden and creating more shade than we wanted, so we decided to have them taken down by «Hopper (UN) Professional Tree Service». Our agreement with Emit was to drop the trees and then cut the wood into fire place burning size, and he would stack it.
Emit was going to do the work on the 30^th, but no showed. He never bothered to call and tell us he wasn’t’ the coming. We assumed he was flaky and decided he didn’t want the work. He finally got in touch with us 2 days later, and said that his guys didn’t want to work those days. But, that he would be there the next day and take the trees down. The next day he did show up, but only dropped one tree, and left it laying in the back yard. After many texts to find out if he was coming back to finish the job he did show up again. He completed taking down 2 of the 3 trees, but refused to cut the wood to fireplace burning size. He told my wife that we needed to split the wood ourselves’ as if we own a wood splitter!
Although the job wasn’t finished Emit asked to be paid. He said he needed to pay his rent. He badgered my wife into paying him, and said he’d come back the next day to finish the 3^rd tree. Again he didn’t return the next day. He finally came back three days later and cut part of the tree down. Emit cut all of the branches off of the remaining tree, but left the trunk, and the tree looking like a cactus in our backyard.
We have made many attempts to have him come finish the work and clean up the back yard. He has not responded.
