Talbot’s 1024

For the most part, I am a fan of the tablots outlet! The clearance section has quite the variety for a more «mature» style (i.e older looking), and can be a hit or miss for younger styles. For the most part the store is clean and tidy and the staff is pleasant.

I am writing this mainly so I and maybe others can be reminded of store hours – drove all the way there Tuesday to find them closed, at 6pm, after having spent a lot of time trying to find their hours on the web to no avail. I think it’s maybe 10am… to 6pm M-​W and 8pm Th and Fr. Why do businesses in this day and age fail to have stuff like this on the web?
Okay. Just have to follow up. Scored some great stuff. Super nice people. Ultimate test: They made an error on my receipt; overcharged me for an item. Not great, but life happens. Went back once. Gal assured she had charged me right. But was nice about it. After going back to car, checked again: nope, they did make a mistake. Went back again. Gal admitted the mistake, thanked me for checking the receipt again, apologized, manager apologized. Walked out of there feeling satisfied.
As I’ve mentioned before, having clerks not get their back up, let alone having them apologize, seems to be an exotic skill that few have. I don’t know why. Even though I had to go back twice, I’m upping this Talbot’s to 5 stars just for this. Good customer service rocks!

I like all outlet stores.
And I really like Tabot’s sales.
But I love a Talbot’s outlet store that has sales!
The truth is, this is not the best Talbot’s store I’ve been to, and not even the best Talbot’s outlet store I’ve been to. But this store has plenty of clothes to choose from, and I love Talbot quality and size, so I really like coming here. The fact that there’s some children’s clothes here (although not much) bumps this place up another half a notch.
