Very torn about this place. On one hand, the server, Alex, is this nicest guy and so committed to doing a great job of serving every need. The food is inconsistent, the steaks are sometimes cooked perfectly and other times, not cooked to requested temperature at all. The ice cream is always delicious and the salad bar is well maintained. What is horrible about this place is the owner or manager. I hate giving my hard earned dollars to some self righteous rude jerk. He is consistently this way. He forgets or intentionally shorts you a drink or salad plate and just has the most sour attitude of anyone I ever met. While we’ve returned regularly, I just think we will be happier to give our discretionary money to someone nicer and more deserving in the future and feel better about doing it.

Ate there, owner took order for 2 dinners. 1 came out about 15 minutes earlier then other. There was only 1 waitress… she was apologetic. I asked for the manager, apparently the owner/manager, i think indian or Pakistani guy had left. Understaffed, greedy owner. Hope he sells the place to someone that understands customer service. I like sizzler, but will avoid this location

4 stars for the salad bar, super friendly service and some of the best homemade MENUDO on weekends. It’s really great tasting MENUDO and you can add cilantro, onion, oregano and ground red chile to your

I don’t know what kind of sceneries these other people are use too … Or quality of food … But they have to be people with poor judgment… Horrible place to eat … Feel as though I am sitting back in the 70s …

New York steak was so tough i couldn’t eat it and when I mentioned it to the server she didn’t even apologize. My mother in law had the shrimp and steak and got food poisoning. Horrible experience.

The food is okay, service is very good. Not enough healthy options for the salad bar, but having no useable restrooms is just awful.

Malibu Chicken had a ½″ square of ham on it… not like the picture with a full slice. $ 3 is a lot for an ice tea. Never was offered or received my bread, potatoes was not heated all the way through… hmm BUT, SERVICEWASEXCELLENT!

First time at Sizzler. $ 19.99 Lobster & steak special was the bees knees! Our waitress JULIE was a sweetheart! Don’t make waitresses like her anymore. Definitely coming back!

Kudos to Sizzler for supporting our Veterans. I stopped in for lunch on Veterans Day and showed my Veterans ID and got a 6 oz steak lunch including a drink at no charge. I did purchase the endless salad and dessert bar for $ 5.49. Excellent service too! What a nice lunch! Thank you Sizzler!

This is old school Sizzler. Loved the cheesy bread and the salad bar did not disappoint. Sometimes you want that old comfort feeling. I know this sounds corny but that’s the feeling I got. I had the steak and malibu chicken. Just like I remembered it. The server was awesome, very attentive, and just a nice guy. Anyways I love Sizzler… still

I thought Sizzler’s were closed. I don’t recall if I’d ever been to a Sizzler’s before this, but I was convinced to give it a try after a coworker sold me on the perks. You can come here and get an endless soup, salad, hot appetizer, dessert bar buffet line for $ 11.99 for dinner. If you come after 4pm you can get Meal Deals which gives you an entrée which then already includes your endless soup, salad, hot apps, dessert. Some of these deals are only $ 1 or $ 2 more than getting the endless option. Or, if you like other entrée items you can add the endless option for about $ 5-$ 6. I know one of the entrée items is a steak with endless shrimp. I know some of you may be thinking, but can this food possibly be good? I say, yes. Just consider where your expectations are at for this establishment and then afterwards you will realize that they perform better than expected. The soup I had, Clam Chowder, was actually very good. The Salad options are diverse in toppings as well as greens. The hot appetizers are decent like wings and tacos and for dessert you can get cobbler or bread pudding or some ice cream. Overall I was already getting full from the endless salad bar options but I also got the Malibu chicken entrée(chicken patty with ham and melted cheese). You get to choose what side dish you want(baked potatoes, fries, broccoli, rice pilaf). My partner in crime got the fried jumbo shrimp which were also quite tasty. Lastly, the Strawberry Lemonade is actually really good, they give you actual strawberries in it. I had a lot of fun and for the price of admission, it’s definitely worth it. I’m not saying it’s a 5-star restaurant, but I can see what the draw is if you’re in the mood for some endless American food options, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you get.

We stopped by for dinner and saw Alex again. Being creatures of habit, we ordered our favorite — he steak and unlimited shrimp combo. I certainly did not disappoint! The shrimp was hot, crunchy and OMG yummy. As soon as he brought out the order, we requested for a second order of shrimp to be put in. He said he already did that for us because he remembered our order from the last time we visited(which was well over six months ago). By far, the BEST crunchy shrimp EVER! They know how to do it up right! Thanks Alex!(And wonderful chef!) Can’t wait to see you again soon!

The food is descent. The servers are good but the gentleman who works the cash register and takes the food orders is awful. His english is terrible and he doesn’t really seem to understand when he is spoken too in english. We have dealt with him on 3 separate visits and our order has been incorrect every single time. Its time to go elsewhere.

Sizzler seems to be loosing it’s touch, the only thing increasing is their prices. I ordered a steak and got a piece full of fat, burned and not much meat. Taste isn’t all there anymore, the food just seems mediocre. Might as well go to a fast food joint and pay less. One of the people in my party found a hair in the middle of there salad that they had served from the salad bar, our server did nothing about it when we informed them except take the plate away. As a customer I expect more. I will not be returning to this or any other sizzler in the future.

I have been going to this sizzler for the past year and half and I must say I am always happy and satisfied. But the big reason why I keep coming back here is «ALEX»!!! He is one of the best servers I have ever met! Before I can take a sip of my drink, we got hot cheesy bread on the table! I don’t know who owns this sizzler’s but you’re lucky to have Alex! I keep going back for the salad bar and hot crispy chicken wings and my girlfriend likes the menudo but the meal won’t taste as good without ALEX!!!

Clean place and all food looked fresh in buffet area. Waitress was very friendly and always attentive. Being a single mom it was hard to leave a big tip, but because of her great service and being Christmas eve; my son and I left her a $ 20 tip. Hopefully they dont end up closing this sizzler, because want to go back and have some more shrimp.

Not ALL Sizzlers are created equal. I found that out the hard way. I visited a 4-star Sizzlers in West Covina that blew me away how good the food, staff and service was. I mean, it was a different(newer) menu that felt like it was prepared by a chef. I had to check the Unilocal rating because I hadn’t visited a Sizzlers in over a decade. I saw four stars and I was like this place should be 4.5−5 because it was incredible. So the following week, my family wanted to go out for an early dinner(like 5:30pm) and I suggested Sizzler’s. They were like«Sizzler’s?!» And I was like«yes, you won’t believe how good it is.» So they agreed. When we walked in, I immediately realized what I had mentioned earlier that not all Sizzlers are the same. The restaurant took me back to 1980, the patrons must have gotten off the street corner and/or straight from the infermary because my appetite declined slightly. Nevertheless we followed through and paid $ 60 for 3 adults and 2 kids. The food was aweful to say the least. Take Denny’s and go one notch down. This place gets an extra star because the service staff was good and friendly, otherwise I’d give it 1-star. This place has no business being rated over 3-stars and it gives the rest of the Sizzlers the reputation it has. It is the equivalent of a $ 2.99 cheap motel vegas buffet for $ 11.99

I must admit, I was surprised that Sizzler is no longer a sit down and be waited upon restaurant. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to one. We had a buy 1 get one free coupon so thought I’d try it out. In case you didn’t know, you order like a fast food restaurant, then they bring the food to your table. What different is once you sit down, you would like it’s full table service. They came over and checked on us, refilled drinks, brought garlic bread while we waiting, and cleared our plates when we were finished. A rather different setup than I’m used to, but it worked! The food was a step up from Denny’s, but not to the level of say Chili’s but the people working were super nice and treated you well! That’s a big plus in my book. You should know if you use a coupon, they don’t work on their specials. It’s only on the full meal. Not a big deal, but made us change our order at the last minute when we were told them. The building has been around a while as well. They keep it clean, but you can tell there is some wear and tear on the structure. Overall, with the coupon, it was worth it! It I was paying full price, I would rather go someplace like Lazy Dog Café for almost the same price.
