This place is excellent for events! Baby showers, bridal showers weddings you name it! My bridal was thrown here and was absolutely beautiful! The staff and services were exceptional as always. I haven’t had the pleasure of staying the night there but I’m hoping to in the near future.

If you love art, architecture and history at a reasonable rate, this cozy craftsman bungalow has it all! Each room has its own theme, the kitchen and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and the antique shops and restaurants of Orange Circle are within easy walking distance. It’s better than a spa or cruise! Very reasonable rate, walking distance to Old Town, the inn workers are very polite and attentive. I recommend this inn

My girlfriend and I just stayed here a few days ago. It is a very comfortable, cozy home. We didn’t get a chance to see the other two rooms… But, we would gladly stay in the Rose Room, again. This is a nice old home that has great appeal in an awesome area of Old Town Orange. If visiting Grandmas house is comforting to you, I HIGHLY recommend staying here. SOMUCH better than those chain hotels and such!

My wife and I stayed in the Rose Room and had a very nice weekend. The property is charming and our room was very quiet, despite the busy street outside filled with Chapman students and tourists going to Old Town Orange. Very nice serve-yourself breakfast, including coffee, tea, milk, a variety of juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, several cereals, English muffins, etc. There was wifi available and a large-screen TV, but we never used either one — we stay at B&Bs to get away from all that, and we were able to at Ruta’s. We plan to visit there again when we need a quiet weekend away.

Charming décor, great location. But the hot water on the shower ran out in under four minutes, the TV in the«suite» didn’t change channels, the instructions to «just put water in the coffee maker» didn’t account for the fact that someone hadn’t EMPTIED the coffee the night before(meaning that coffee spilled all over the counter), and the management was unresponsive to queries to fix things. Ultimately, I’d have been better off staying in a bargain-basement motel.
