I have been using them for years bring them to every restaurant I work at and now that I have my own place @ Vital I will be using them for years to come with a question. Best bread around

A rare find, an original Italian bakery. Fresh breads, breadsticks, cookies, biscotti. All great stuff.

I visited Serrani’s today for the first time, and was quite pleased. The bread is terrific, the grissini/​breadsticks were as well-​and after I told the woman who helped me I was a first time visitor she stopped me on the way out with a bag of smaller, sesame studded bread sticks and three different cookies-​on the house! How could I not go back soon? And although Orange can be sketchy, Serrani’s is steps away from a Orange Police substation, so I wouldn’t worry about anything. I look forward to trying other things there.

Real Italian bread. Freshly made and delicious. I was warmly greeted and immediately helped. This was a great experience and I will be back for more.

It’s a shame time machines haven’t been invented yet. There are a few moments I wish I could go back to and alter. Like I remember times as a kid accidentally calling my kindergarten teacher «Mommy» or just breaking random expensive chatsky around the house. Or that time my girlfriend told me «I love you» and I just stared at her slightly overdone mascara… also there are moments I wish I could visit once bustling downtown neighborhoods and enjoy the flair from a bygone era. Well, you can sorta do that in downtown Orange.
This is a true old fashioned Jersey bakery. Walk inside, you’ll see what I mean. The Anise Chocolate wafers make me ponder why this isn’t a staple of every dessert menu. It activates taste buds that I’ve forgotten since childhood. Buttery Italian cookies are an underappreciated delicacy that this Serrani’s also does particularly well. I think this place is most known for its bread though since I believe they’re also a distributor but in my opinion, there are better places but definitely worth a try.
