Orange County Riding Academy

What an excellent experience! We will definitely be going back for more training from Trish! I called last minute to see if Orange County Riding Academy could do a trail ride on Sunday for my Mom and 9 year old daughter. Trish was so accommodating getting them in last minute. The experience for my family was amazing. My daughter came home screaming, «I cantered!!!» She obviously learned a great deal of horsemanship in just a few short hours. The trail was scenic with creeks and lots of views. My mom was happy she was not stuck in a large group pf people and got to have a quiet and intimate experience. These were cherished moments for sure. I can’t wait to start my daughter for riding lessons here at Orange County Riding Academy with Trish!

My 10 year old daughter has been taking lessons here for almost a year and we are very pleased with her progress. Trish (the owner) is an expert at training kids everything they need to know about riding and taking care of horses. My daughter is now learning barrel racing and loves it.

Trish, the owner, provided my visiting grandchildren with a phenomenal horseback ride experience! It was a first trail ride for my 6-​year old granddaughter and second for my 10-​year old grandson — both are hooked on horses now! She matched the horse temperament to the experience and age of the child, and I, myself, rode for the first time in 10 years. Trish is also very accommodating to the times we were available. I wish the grandkids were here longer or I would have signed them up for her summer horse camp. She really is passionate about working with kids and the caring of her animals. We are definitely going to do a family ride when they return in December for Christmas.
