Jane Andaya

It was great to work with Jane! She lives out in OC, but was very accommodating and came out to Monterey park for my trail at 7:30 pm on a weekday after work. She brought her hair stylist Joi who worked on my hair while Jane worked on my make up. I totally felt like a princess with a glam squad. They both had a ton of supplies! Luggage rollers with lights, make up, extension cords and anything and everything else they need to beautify me. Both of them constantly asked what i thought as they were working on me. My hair wasn’t long/​full enough to do a side swept hair, so Joi used fake hair to to make it fuller, free of charge. The whole trail session took about 3 hrs. They were very thorough. Jane used air brush on me (cost extra for actual day). By the time they finished, it was past 10:30 pm, so I was quite tired. My face was shinier than I would have liked, and my eye shadow wasn’t completely to my liking, but that could have been becuase it was 10:30pm and we were all tired. I still ended up booking Jane because her price was good and I liked her style. She’s very stylist, has cool hair, and lots of tats :) I figured she knew what she was doing.
On the day of, they showed up bright and early at 6am :) Worked on me, my MOH, the mothers and the flower girl. Like the trail, there were very accommodating to everyone and listened to what people wanted and altered as needed. Without me having to say anything, Jane altered my eye shadow and make up and I absoluetly loved the end result! I was not shiny or blothy from the airbrush. (this was an issue I had from another make up artist. I was blotchy even though they used air brush. The make up artist promised it would look great in photo, but i don’t wanna look blothy to people in person!)
If there was a need to have make up done again in the future, i would definitely book with Jane again.

Jane did my make up for a photoshoot in LA. She did an awesome job! Jane was very precise and also educated me on highlighting and contouring. She listened well to what I was going for and was open to direction and adjustments. As a perfectionist, sometimes its hard to be picky about details but she was very open, flexible and responded very well. I was super happy with my shots and would recommend her to anyone!

I had hired Jane for my wedding last year, for both hair and makeup. She commuted all the way to Century City where my hotel was located. She was patient with my hair since I had really long hair down to my waist and so she had to deal with a lot of hair!
One of my bridesmaids was going to do her own makeup but we were running behind on time so Jane quickly did her makeup for free.
