IHOP

This is the third time I come to this location. They are always packed but the service and food is always exceptional. I will come back again.

Been to this location many times. Throughout my life I’ve always loved IHOP and have been to them in many states. This location is great example of a great IHOP. The food is consistently delicious, restaurant is always clean and service is always great.

The food is really good I got the Philadelphia steak and cheese which was really good and testy, raspberry iced tea was too sweet and the service was slow

We are on our way home and stopped for food here, it’s Valentine’s Day, the place was packed but they kept sitting people as fast as they could. The waitress was super nice and the food was good and came fast. The manager came to check if we needed something even on what I can only imagine being one of the busiest days of the year. Well done iHop!

I went to this IHOP and got seated but waited 10 minutes and was unnoticed although i was seated by the host. After ten minutes of waiting with a growling stomach I got up and left but once again unnoticed even after walking out the doors. I went back in and the same server asked how many and was reaching out for menu, i then explained i was sitting at the table for ten minutes on a slow day and he asked me what table was i sitting at and i pointed but stated that because i was sitting for so long unnoticed i was gonna leave and he offered to get the waiter but i didn’t bother, i just took my business to chillis and honestly that was the best decision i made although i spent more money there because i was treated like a five star restaurant with exceptional customer service. Ihop you let me down!

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. The good is the same as every other IHOP. If you don’t like IHOP why would you expect the food to be different at another location? It’s a chain.
Anyway, if you’ve never come to IHOP it’s pretty tasty. If you’ve been to Denny’s and hated it then this is the place for you. They have great tasting pancakes and eggs and the burgers are pretty good also. They have a nice variety. Of course it’s expensive as its a chain. Normal $ 10 plates that are cheap to cook at home. But it’s nice to know that you don’t have to wash all those pots and pans after.
The location is great it’s not super noisy. Service is a little slow sometimes so if you’re starving go somewhere else. If you’re with a big group and you guys are talking and having a lot of fun then time will go by pretty fast and you’ll have great good in no time.
My favorite: Pick a pancake combo: double chocolate chip pancakes, double hash browns + bacon.
Can’t get that at home without making a mess!
If service was faster this place gets five stars.

Sure. I know a lot of iHops are the same but I rather enjoyed my recent visit to my local iHop. When eating at franchises, the only thing that sets them apart from each other is the service. The service I received today was exceptional. The waitress was great. She gave me some great suggestions that made my meal more enjoyable. I would definitely visit this iHop again.

if you have ANY respect for pancakes, and you live in or near orange. NEVER EAT HERE, please stop reading this review or ANY OTHER REVIEW and go directly the Chips in orange, CT. chips has a much better selection of tasty an high quality pancakes. IHOP is a round pile of garbage. I wouldn’t even come here on free pancake day, its that bad!

Just finished a breakfast at IHOP. Waited about 15 min. for a table. Lots of choices on their menu and definitely lots of food. I had the whole wheat banana pancakes, eggs, sausage and homefries. They pancakes were a little dry. Everything just average. Service was good. I get why people come here… it’s cheap! However, there are many other local spots in Milford to choose from and to support our local economy.

Reviews seem to be polar — but I have to be honest — one of my best Saturday AM meal experiences was here in Sept. We were a group and stumbled in. We were so bleary eyed we didn’t notice that they didn’t open until 7am on Saturday (wow, that’s late). But the server — rather than rudely shoo us away or lock the door — got us to the table, took our order and put a rush on our food. We were in a hurry for an event. The food was great. I had super scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. In terms of service, this was a five star experience — I am very sorry I did not get the server’s name. She was maybe over 50. Terrific attitude. Awesome experience.

I especially like this location, the service is fast and the food is consistently prepared correctly and seved hot.
We always have breakfast, never tried lunch or dinner and opted to come here rather then Chips based on the consistent good meals we have had here.

Just an awful experience.
Our server forgot or neglected to put in our order, so that the following happened — the party that sat down next to us 30 minutes after us got served before us, and we watched through the window as people who pulled in after us were leaving at the same time we were brought our food.
We complained to our server, and here’s where it got bad — he summoned the manager over, a rude man without a perfect command of the English language who first tried to explain it away as having to do with what we ordered (it takes 40 minutes longer to cook omelettes than plain eggs?). Then, he went and got some receipt that showed our order went in almost 30 minutes after we gave it to our server, as if proving his point that it was our fault.
This IHOP used to have good service when a guy with longer, gray hair ran the place, but it’s totally gone to shit with this current clown of a manager. Will never be back.

Ok for fast food. Clean facility. Friendly staff. Efficient wait staff. Pepsi products only.

First off, the most amazing chocolate chip pancakes ever! I come here just for them. Breakfasts are good, nothing amazingly special about eggs and hash browns. The only thing I tried here that I didn’t like was the pot roast sandwich, I couldn’t even finish half of it it was that bad. You have to plan when you’re coming because if you show up at the wrong time you could be waiting forever for a table. Great prices, everything is really cheap and filling.

Always consistently great chicken fajita omlette with egg whites. Late lunch today, but great for breakfast & dinner :)

I don’t know how this place managed to get as many stars as it did. It’s totally disgusting.
When I say disgusting, I can’t speak for the food… the place was so dirty and gross I wouldn’t even touch mine. So — Perhaps the food is great, but I’ll never find out!
When we arrived, there were only about 3 other families eating… we were
pretty hungry so we were happy, figuring things would be quick given the fact that they weren’t busy. We started walking over to the table when the hostess turned around and said, «I’m sorry I have to ask you to wait a few more minutes»…they were waiting for someone to clean the table. 10minutes later we were seated. I could’ve gone over and cleaned the table myself.
Then, the paper placemat that I got already had syrup (or something) on it, and our napkins (holding the silverwear) were gross. I switched with my husbands because he’s not usually as picky as I am about those things, but his was just as gross. Looks like someone used them to wipe their hands then wrapped our silverwear. Very unappetizing.
Then to make matters worse there was an ant crawling around on the table.
My husband ordered, I did not! I just couldn’t. An eating establishment should not make me feel sick to my stomach. They need to clean up their act a little! I can’t justify giving this place more than 1 star.

I like IHOP a lot! I always get the swedish crepes with eggs and hash browns. There are many, many options on the menu, and all my friends have their favorite things that they always order. It’s cheap and unhealthy, but once in a while, I think that’s okay. It would get 5 stars if it were open 24 hours…

plus:
1. healthier options– egg white, turkey bacon, multi-​grain pancakes
2. didn’t have to wait on a sat. morning
3. butter pecan flavored syrup. though not real maple syrup, but still delicious
minus:
1. high customer-​server ratio
2. too many tables in a small space
3. menus can use some good cleaning– they are either greasy or sticky from the syrup

Although it is part of an Evil Empire (restaurant chain) it’s a pretty good place to get some breakfast. In the past, I’ve had some questionable experiences (dirty tables, very slow service, insanely long waits, etc.). However, when I went recently, it was very clean and our server was excellent. She was helpful, but not over-​solicitous. I always enjoy the fact they offer seasonal specialty pancakes. I tried the coffee cake pancakes and they were VERY good. Plus, my eggs-​over-​medium were cooked perfectly.
I will say, it is best to avoid this place on weekend mornings. You can end up waiting over an hour to be seated. While that’s not really IHOP’s fault, it’s certainly tough if you’re starving or have kids with you.
So after my recent good experience, I’ll give them a solid three stars.
