Francois D Lalonde, MD

Dr. Lalonde is knowledgeable, friendly and great with everyone. My son has seen him for two different fractures. One pretty severe (when he was 8) and the other fairly mild (just a few weeks ago). He handled them both so well. When my son fractured his arm this second time he specifically asked if we could go back to Dr. Lalonde (after SIX years). Fortunately that worked out and he’s almost done with his cast «sentence».
Do not hesitate to call him. Everyone there is nice and they get things done. I can recommend him without hesitation.

The Dr. was pretty great. He spent a fair amount of time with us and explained everything he was doing. Unfortunately he has this horrible, small unprofessional troll that works the front desk. During my first visit I saw this small ugly troll fighting with another client and speaking in the most aggressive and demeaning manor. During my next visit she put her hand in my face to stop me from speaking when I asked her about a charge I was unclear about and started speaking in the most aggressive nature with me! She did this in front of a waiting room full of patients. It is a shame that this kind and decent doctor has this little troll working in the front. I would be livid if I were him and had someone representing my business in such a terrible way. I will never go back just because of the troll. There are plenty of other offices where you can go and be treated with respect by all staff than to have to accept this kind of treatment. Please keep in mind too, once your being seen by an orthopedic doctor, it’s almost impossible to have your care managed by another doctor if you are unhappy. No one wants to be responsible for any potential mistakes made by the first doctor you’ve seen so you’ll pretty much be stuck with whomever you choose until you care is complete. Choose wisely!!!

Dr. Lalonde is a great orthopaedic surgeon. He took care of my daughter’s knee injury — dislocated and fractured patella. He takes the time to talk everything over with you and remembers everything from before. The follow up visits were great and the x-​rays showed that all went well. The advice on the therapy and the knee brace were very helpful. He has offices in Orange and in Mission Viejo too. I would recommend him for any knee injury.
