David Pellegrino Remodeling

WARNING: I left a bad review previously (see below). Well, David saw it and asked me to take it down. At first he was trying to be nice but when I refused he threatened me saying «you better watch out M$&@ker, I know where you live». I’m not worried because we fixed up the house to move (we are not even in Cali anymore), but you do not want a person like this anywhere near your home.

DO NOT USE David Pellegrino who now operates as California Kitchen and Bath out of Huntington Beach. He drives a bright yellow Nissan Xtera. He will quote a great price, but that’s then last thing that will go right. His sub-​contractors DO NOT have the skill to complete the job. He will not return your call and you will NOT be satisfied with the quality.

He promised me a two week project are on the six week and no kitchen cabinets
He’s a lair and he will cheat you out of your money!!!
I’m so upset with him and he does is lying
To you and not man enough to see you face-to-face…he is fast on getting your money!
So if you talk to him or see him buyers beware
He will try to cheat you for sure…
If anyone out there that can stop him please please do…
I’m already starting a investigation on him and he’s worker will not tell you much they Are playing dumb…

We initially decided to work with David because he was friendly and had amazing prices. Our one day counter top job never showed up even after we put 50% down. Which, by the way, is illegal for them to ask. They can only request 10% or 1,000. We messaged and called him several times that day and he finally responds 4 hours after the job was supposed to start saying that his guy was ‘in an accident’ and would finish the job the next day. The next day comes and they don’t have our counter tops, only do the demo and say the will be back the NEXT day to install in the AFTERNOON. Our cabinets were falling apart, something that we were not aware of until the current counter tops were removed, so giving David the benefit of a doubt we went with him for new cabinets as well. The following day arrives, 3 days past when our counter tops were supposed to be installed, and they said they cannot make it until 8pm. That is not the afternoon. At this point we decide to really research David Pellegrino and it turns out he is a Fraud who worked under L.P.V. Construction in the past and his license is suspended due to several complaints to the better business bureau. We are due a refund for our deposit at this time but I doubt that will happen. Please be aware of this man.
