Danny K’s Billiards & Sports Bar

Every year we have a Pool Tournament here for our club and I think last night was probably the 10^th Anniversary. We had 25 people and they set us up with Tables on both sides of our high-​top seating area. Carol and Joyce had everything ready and we had a Fajitas buffet that was so good I had a hard time getting the them stop eating and start playing pool. The wait staff are always super friendly and the service is fast. 46 games later we had a winner.

Fuck this place! Stupid ass racist people still exist in this world unfortunately. I came here with my husband and they needed 6 employees to look at his ID. Why? Because it was from the consulate of Honduras identification. After standing there for about 10 min my husband and I just asked for his ID back and left. We felt so embarrassed. And they had to get on the phone for what? To verify if it’s real? I mean haven’t they ever seen and ID that’s not from California? Guess you have to look white and have blue eyes to enter this place. This deserves zero stars

Big pool hall with a full bar! Perfect place to hang out with friends to get some drinks and play some pool. I believe it is $ 12.50-$ 13 an hour for pool which is not too bad. Got a couple games with the five of us taking turns. Fun times on a Friday night with Friends :)

Remember at the end of the day it’s just a at, with great TV screens and bar food! Small parking, plan ahead or take a taxi

Service is a hit or miss, unfortunately this time it was a big time miss. Our server either kept missing our table or drinks were forcefully ordered directly by us at the bar since it was taking over 20 minutes to arrive. Still the vibe is favorable, shooting stick and stories amongst my friends kept us entertained.
This place has more of a local neighborhood sports bar feel. I’m sure they’re a handful of regulars that have made this their go-​to spot for sports viewing, pool or just a place to drink on what otherwise could have been a pointless weekend night.

The service is amazing everyone is always so polite! There is a lady that works there by the name of Joanne. I only come in on the weekends but she always remembers me has a smile and even knows what I drink and if there is something I talk to her about. The following week she will remember and always ask!! how was, what happen with?, did you have fun? ext…

We visited after watching the ducks kill the senators at the Honda Center (4 – 1). The bartender was nice and welcoming, and the waitress was great as well. This is a great place to unwind with some beer and pool. They have an hourly rate for the table, $ 10.50 but if you spend over $ 11 on food and/​or beer, the first hour of pool is free (totally worth it, the bbq chicken pizza is very yummy)! They also have a foosball table, a dartboard, and a shuffleboard for all you gamers. Definitely going to come back for some pool and beer

Cool neighborhood sports bar. Super cheap beers and excellent beer selection. Tons of places to sit and chill. I wish we had something like this in south county. A+.

Awesome sports bar! I believe they have 16 pool tables and 4 dart boards. They also have shuffle board. It’s such a fun environment if you are looking to have a few drinks and play some games or if you’re there to watch your favorite team play.

My go too, when I want to have a drink. Cheap drinks good food and pool tables. What else do you want? This is my usual watering hole

This is a good giant «neighborhood» sports bar /​large dive and pool hall that serves several different purposes. They cater primarily to pool players, and you can go here to get your rack on.
It’s has a bunch of TV’s, so it’s a good place to watch almost any sporting event, especially football. The food is decent enough that you’d go there and grab a bite and a beer, yeah it’s pub food but good enough to pass as regular food without noticing much.
The crowds for PPV MMA or Boxing are pretty much insane. If you’re going to go, get there an hour, hour and a half early and get a table. Try to get a table table, or perhaps the stools along the wall, but they also have the extra pool tables as tables. Cover is generally $ 10. Prices are pretty reasonable, it ended up about $ 10 less per person than the last place I went to, for watching one of these. For the same amount of food & drink. The only bad part is the backup of the kitchen. But that’s why you get there extra early and get your order in. The wait for a beer can at times be up to about 5 minutes once you spot your waitress, so get those in quickly too.
It’s also a pool hall, which means you can go there and grab a table by the hour with some friends, and on Sundays it’s pretty much always half price. And tables are almost always available. Lunchtime pool is free I think, and it’s always cheaper before 7 which is also when happy hour ends.
My favorite time to go there is for monday night football… they have a little spread of chips & salsa and free dogs by the front. It goes quickly, but as long as you’re there on time you should be good. They also have free giveaways that go on, for which you’ll get a ticket. Usually this is one of the authentic jerseys from each of the teams that are playing, one goes at halftime and the other at the end of the game IIRC. Pretty nice!
Service… in general very friendly and they try to get back to you ASAP. However after having been here over 2 dozen times and having spotty service half a dozen times, i can clearly tell you it’s hit or miss. The kitchen can also get backed up when it’s really really busy.
Parking… yeah it’s a private lot and the overflow is street. It can be a pain when they’re packed. Just get there early if you don’t wanna deal. Sometimes you’ll luck out and get a good one. Watch for people leaving first

Huge amount billiards tables, steel tip darts, soft tip darts, shuffleboard games, and a couple of video games to play. They have a huge selection of beers on tap and a full bar.
They have a ton of tv’s to watch any game that is on and a surprising large selection of food items. (I did not eat any food).
Parking can be an issue with any huge sporting events going on there. I have had to park on the main street a couple of hundred yards away before.

This is probably the most chill pool hall that I have been to so far. There are plenty of pool tables and contrary to some other reviews, the parking isn’t bad at all. They have a full bar with many kinds of beer.
I always come Sunday or Monday nights when the price is half off pool and cheaper drinks as well. Monday to Friday 3 – 7 they have free pool with a 10 dollar purchase. That makes it so easy, especially when you and a friend are going to buy a beer each, which the two of you were already going to buy. I haven’t tried much of the food but the chips and salsa is really good! The portion size is large and they have a nice kick to them.
The tables are also kept decently clean. I think they’re the slick kind of tables which makes for a faster game especially when your ball control isn’t perfect. Overall this place is great if you want to come for a game of pool.

My friends and I like to hang out here to watch sporting events and have special birthday events. There are tons of huge televisons. In the front of the place, they have a nice area they can section off for private parties that includes three pool tables, booths and some other tables.
The bar is fully stocked. Has beers on tap. Lots of IPA’s. They serve all kinds of hard alcohol. Bartenders and waitress are all pretty good and nice to look at also.
The back off the place has tons of pool tables, dart boards and a shuffle board. One area has a ton of huge tvs together making it great for watching football.
The food here is average. Typical bar quality. Wouldn’t bring a date here for food but maybe drinks and pool.
This place can get packed especially after Angels or Ducks games.

This place was much bigger than I anticipated. I came here a few weeks ago because a friend of mine wanted to watch a basketball game. We were easily able to snag a booth and a spot in front of one of the many widescreen televisions.
Our server was kicking butt by handling all of the tables for the front half of the bar. She was attentive, considering how crowded it was. The back half of the bar is huge and is where most of the pool tables are.
This place is out of my way, so I can’t imagine why I’d come here again anytime soon. But! If I found myself in the area and wanted to just hang out at a clean and friendly sports bar, I would definitely head down to Danny K’s.

Not a bad place to go with a group of friends and just have a couple of beers. Not very exciting and it’s kind of murky inside but it’s dive-​barish.
The food isn’t anything spectacular, fries, wings, nachos.
An average place where you can go watch the game comfortably.

Sign out front says free pool Monday through Friday 3 – 7. Go inside and two different bar tenders say it’s free. if you spend 10 dollars. So no its not free in case anyone else is wondering.

Yes, parking sucks. Get here before it fills up. With that out of the way, this place is damn awesome! I came here for a friend’s birthday, and couldn’t be disappointed. Everything was great! The beer was great, the prices aren’t too bad and the food is good.
Really, you’ve got to experience this place for yourself. Just, get here before the parking lot fills up haha. Well done Danny K’s, well done.
