Kyodai Sushi Rock Japan Steakhouse

Very nice Japanese steakhouse. Service was decent. Vegetables were very fresh and perfectly cooked. The fried rice was also perfectly cooked. Filet was tender and again, perfectly cooked. An overall great experience.

This place was horrible. The service was bad. The food was bad. My friend and me got sick from eating here. Never going again.

Horrible. 1 HR 7 mins for 3 sushi rolls. Terrible service, horrible wait times. Took forever for my guests to get their food and it wasn’t what they ordered. Never come back here again.

Took 1 hr to make sushi, 3 rolls. Overall good was bad and service sucked! Server never apologized for the wait or the fact we never got to eat the sushi. They weren’t even that busy

We have been wanting to try this place for a while, but because our busy schedule we were not able until recently. Arrived on a Saturday at 9:00pm (they advertise as closing at 10:00pm) The staff was not happy to see us walking (came to find out they wanted to close earlier since it was dead, when the waitress told us to hurry up and place our order because they all wanted to leave early) The waitress gave us mediocre service, rushed us to place order, was annoyed when we ordered drinks, and did not allowed us to order dessert because cook was ready to close kitchen. I understand you wanted to close early, but you should have given us a better treatment and tell us you are closing before even sitting us down, and making us go through such sour experience. We wont busy again.

We will NEVER eat here again. The staff is so rude and the customer service is definitely subpar. We looked the hours up online and they were listed as open. Called FOUR times before I could get anyone on the phone. The employee that answered confirmed they were open for lunch but when we got there we were greeted at the door by an employee that said «closed. You can’t come in» despite a parking lot full of cars and people clearly being served inside. Please learn how to run a business adequately because you just lost several repeat customers.

Jaguar roll is the way to go. I only like my sushi fried, and they’ll fry everything on the sushi menu. Their combination meals are fairly prices and delicious. You’ll always go home with leftovers. Their plum wine is da bomb.

Went two times in the last 2 months and neither experience left me overly impressed. Our 1^st visit in October, my wife and I had mediocre service and decent hibachi. Nothing to write home about but, good enough for another visit when we were in the mood for hibachi.
We went again on 12/​01/​2015. We sat at a table with two other groups of two. Our server, Brian left much to be desired. No bowls from our soup and salad courses were taken away from the table before we left. My drink remained empty for over 30 minutes and was never refilled. In fact, we never saw Brian the whole time between ordering and getting our check. We did see runners for food and a chef but, we did not see him.
Our food was decent again however, the chicken could have been prepped better as I got some pretty gristly bits in mine. The kicker however was when both parties other than our’s never got the sushi dishes they ordered until after the complete hibachi meals had been served. In addition to the slow delivery, their orders were all wrong. This was when we saw Brian again, I asked for my check, boxes, and a drink to go. 5 minutes later I got a box and my check.
Overall the experience on 12/​01/​2015 was a disaster however, everyone was nice. I called shortly after leaving to speak to management and express concern that while the staff seemed quite nice, they were in need of some more support/​training. I was left on hold for a few minutes then asked to leave a message (after hearing the hostess state «I don’t know, they just asked for a manager» to an unknown party on her end).
They never called back, I’ll take that as meaning they also would not like to see me back.

My favorite restaurant since I’ve been here. The first time we went on our anniversary we had a couple that payed for our food and told us to start coming back more often. Me and my husband eat here at least once a month and are never disappointed.

They moved across the street from their normal location, so they just opened. The device was great! Our server was new it was only his 2^nd day. We were kind of disappointed that after we sat down and ordered our hibachi that they weren’t allowed to serve sushi because of their new location??? We went here to eat sushi and hibachi… But we stayed. Food was great, our hibachi guy was nice but lacked a lot of personality… He seemed to just cook the food very quickly and got it over with. Half way through my food I found a hair cooked wrapped around my scallop and showed my waiter as I pulled it off and it just unraveled my scallop. It was pretty gross but we didn’t make a big deal about it. We understand it happens. They gave of a discount. Overall it was a good experience…

The place is not clean at all! Air conditioning vents, the walls and the flooring has not been cleaned in years. If the restaurant is in such bad condition, I just wonder what the kitchen looks like ! Food was okay, nothing special !

La La Loveeeeeee this place! BEST SUSHI/​HIBACHI in town!!! I will not go anywhere else unless it’s this place. Talk about big perfect amounts of food to keep for left overs & the flavor is so good I tear up with happiness LOL

First time here and I wonder why? It won’t be our last. Our server Dave was fantastic. The chef at the table was Zack and was very entertaining and cooked perfectly. Food was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

We always sit at the sushi bar, and the staff is always very polite and fun to talk to! Sushi is fresh and tasty, if not a little pricey (around 8 rolls for $ 60 ?!), but definitely a great choice if you stop for a quick lunch and you only want a couple rolls!
Very clean restaurant with a nice, quiet atmosphere. They have alcohol and beer selections to fit every alcohol need you drunky, and they have lots of hibachi options as well as green tea and miso soup as an appetizer! A little bit American, but definitely try the Jimmy Smith roll, which is just a Philly roll but deep fried!

Food is good almost great. Service could be a little quicker. Hibachi chefs are always entertaining. Better to come with 4 or more so you dont have to wait for them to fill up your table. We came with three and had to wait and see if more people would come in to fill up the 8 seater table. I got the steak shrimp and scallops and they were cooked perfectly.

Amazing food, amazing derive! Very willing to work with special dietary needs. Fast and friendly. Over all this place is amazing and we will be coming back!

The décor is a little dated, and the service isn’t great. But the food is good for a fair price. They have pretty creative sushi rolls and even ones that aren’t on the menu.

Although I’ve been to many places just like this, I never get tired of watching these guys cook and perform in front of people!!!
This restaurant is pretty spacious with a lot of places to sit l. We thought we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, but we ended up getting seated in 10!
For a Friday night, I thought that they didn’t have enough waitresses because our waitress had been waiting on at least half of the restaurant. Also, she took awhile to refill our drinks — never a good thing when you REALLY notice your drink’s empty. Our waitress’ customer service also seems kind of fake and when we tried to call her she was almost ignoring us and didn’t even bother to turn around, then walked the other way.
As for the food, it was pretty good, but I will say that the salmon I had was a little salty. The meal that I chose was the steak and salmon dinner that came with soup, fried rice and salad. I also shared a dynamite roll appetizer with my boyfriend and there was so much salmon in there! We are always use to it having rice so this was a bit different, but it was still good :)
Overall I had a really good time and our chef was pretty funny. He gave us each to pieces of shrimp for everyone at the table and since my boyfriend didn’t want vegetables he gave his helpings to me T_​_​_​T
This place is great for families and groups, you will definitely have a great time! Oh, and you probably will have leftovers because the portions are pretty good :)
