We were greeted nicely upon entering and immediately seated. The chips and salsa was brought to the table and the waiter took our drink orders. After we started eating the chips I noticed a hair. The waiter apologized, replaced the chips, and took our food orders. I ordered 2 soft tacos without lettuce but I ended up getting 2 crunchy tacos. I explained the mistake and the waiter again apologized and took the food away. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands after touching that hair and I noticed the handsoap was completely watered down. I can only imagine this is what the employees are also using to wash their hands. Once I returned I noticed my tacos were replaced but I didn’t eat them. I can say that the waiter was nice.

Food is not even decent, I didn’t like the quesadilla verde. Service is good but I’m disappointed with the food.

No crowd on a Sunday afternoon had me hesitant but overall it was worth the drive. The queso dip was delicious but the one with chorizo was super greasy. Prices and portions are similar to la nopalera EXCEPT la nops California burrito. Here it’s called the super burrito but it’s not nearly as big or comes with as much filling. The Texas fajitas were pretty amazing. There wasnt much of a wait for our food, but everything still came out fresh and hot. Only looked like one staff member working but he did an awesome job tending to everyone there. Will definitely be back to try out some other dishes.

The restaurant was nice and clean, the margaritas were refreshing and delicious and quite alcoholic. That was a plus. Food was enjoyable and came in large portions. *HOWEVER* the server in our section must have just gotten out of prison after a lengthy stay or something, because she didn’t seem to realize that Mexican families now owned restaurants. First of all, telling your Hispanic customer about your racist views on hard working families from other countries, is not the best way to get tipped or keep your job, Joan. I would generally have stopped it there, but i was curious about just how bad it could get. So here’s the final tally: bad mouthing the kitchen staff and Mexican people in general, forgetting my water after 3 requests, and telling your customers not to «waste money on the desserts because it’s just fried tortillas with sugar» equals a massive server failure. Get rid of Joan and you might get more business, El Apache, as well as more stars from me.

I was craving Mexican food so bad. I had never been to El Apache before and was hoping it was going to be good Mexican food. Unfortuneatley it was not! The service was subpar and the salsa was bland and watered down. The chips and salsa are one of the things I really enjoy about mexican resturaunts and if the salsa sucks the food probably does too. I decided to test the water, so to speak, since this was my first visit. Instead of ordering $ 12 to $ 15 dollar dinner I chose the $ 8 Apache Nachos. The presentation was not gross but very unappealing the waitress was wearing a dirty hot glove and the thumb portion was touching my food, yuck! The ground beef looked like it had been ground to nearly a paste and was in small piles resembling a cow patty, just wierd looking. I almost sent it back but for reasons only God knows I didn’t. I actually ate a quarter of it then became disgusted. I didn’t complain because I felt it would be a waste of time and took it as a lesson learned. I paid a little over $ 12 for nachos and tea and I even tipped the 20% because the waitress looked like she needed more than I did. I will not be back to El Apache.

So we showed up for cinco de mayo with a party of 6. Waited for probably 30 mins to be seated and then at least another hour for our food. We had to ask 2 different servers about our food and when it finally arrived it was cold. The rice was dry and the beans were mush. Needless to say we won’t be back. Several other tables had the same complaints & one large table got up & walked out without paying.

Let me first say that the salsa is AMAZING! It’s for sure home made and it’s fresh, with just the right amount of spice. Second, the meat was flavored really well and the portions were generous. However, the burrito only had meat and sauce. Not much cheese and not anything else either. The enchilada was a miniature version of the burrito. Nothing spectacular about either other than what I did get was super tasty. The beans were great but the rice was dry. I think it was because it was 8pm when I ordered and they were closing soon. The staff that I encountered were very nice. The man at the counter was friendly and so was the waitress who brought out my food. The restaurant looked clean from the front counter(I ordered take out) and the atmosphere was quaint. Despite the negatives I give this place 4 stars because what they did right was awesome. We’ll head back to this place the next time we want some Mexican food.

Awesome experience from start to finish. The chips are perfectly crispy, but not brittle, with a salsa that has excellent consistency and zest. Service is very prompt and friendly. Food varies well in portions and prices [from $ 4 to $ 18] in order to suit your individual hunger and affordability needs.

Food was ok but the owner refused to accept our $ 10 off coupon that has no expiration date listed regardless of him saying it’s no good he lost a custom for life I use to like this establishment when I was younger but they really let this place go.

Overall, not bad. The prices were okay, and we definitely had enough to eat. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us, but didn’t make us feel like we needed to hurry. The lighting and the font made the menu numbers a little difficult to read. Fortunately, we were able to tell the waitress which combo we wanted. I had the number 23… tostaguac, tamale & burrito. The tostaguac was very good. The tamale(my fave mexi dish) was decent. The burrito was just okay. I’m not a huge fan of chili powder, and I would have preferred it with tomato sauce or cheese on top. We will probably go back

Today was my first visit, and based on this experience, they have a new regular for lunch. First off, whoever said the prices are a bit high is incorrect. My meal was high quality and the portion was great – $ 6.79 for a taco, chile relleno, beans, queso on top, and guac(which I didn’t get because I’m a loony toon who doesn’t like the stuff!). Anyways, the chile relleno was very tasty and authentic in flavor. The taco was awesome. They didn’t skimp at all on the yummy grilled chicken and it came with plenty of sour cream. Also, they brought free chips with lotsssss of salsa. I took off one star though for the salsa – I liked it enough to eat it but it was just«meh.» I hate having to take off a star for that, but I really enjoy a good salsa, and there’s no option to take off a half star. Service was good. Waiter was friendly and food came out fast. I’ll be back for sho!

Having given up on La Nop and Olé’, we stopped in here for dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our friendly waiter had chips/salsa(yummm!) for us right away. The music in background was a bit loud & energetic for my taste, but gave it a nice atmosphere… The menu is quite«wordy» but they offer alot of combos. Lunch prices are much better than dinner. We went with the fajitas and some simple items(enchlada, etc.) Beans were yummy, rice a bit bland. Fajitas were sizzling! and tasty! and the $ 3 margaritas were Yummmmm! So overall, a good experience… not the cheapest but good. Worth a 2nd try, soon!!! The wait staff is very nice, friendly & attentive. Gave us some salsa and chips to go! Will go again.

Good Mexican beer selection(XX, Modelo, Pacifico) at decent prices. Chips and salsa are also good. Food is average and slightly overpriced. Friendly service as well.

The entrees are mediocre. I go back for the $ 3 margaritas during happy hour(3p-7p M-F) They also have Pacificos or Dos XX for $ 2 during that time. The waiters are friendly & the queso dip is pretty good.

This place is fun on karaōke night. Never a long wait. Food is ok, beer is affordable, wait staff is great, you can feed an army affordably, but the owner is «el cheapo». He has a reward card. If you buy one meal for lunch you will get one punch on the card, and if you buy dinner for 20 people you will also get one punch on the dang card. If you ever fill the card you get 1 free entrée. There is no appreciation for bringing a huge party. Grrrrrrr. I guess it was based on the idea of the old subway sub card with a super cheap twist. La Napolera does not play the games. If karaōke fun is your need go with this place! If you just want to eat good food, at fair prices with out insulting marketing games, then look down the street to «La Nop…»
