The customer service isn’t the best in the world but I’m sure it’s bc it’s a high density of traffic due to a big mall that they are residing in. So what’s pretty fun about this business is they were on a show called Cupcake Wars and they weren’t on it once but actually twice! *Spoiler alert* they won that episode! It’s the Elvis episode. Okay onto the tasting of the cupcakes! The frosting is very sweet and very tasty! Plenty of frosting for sure I had to actually scrape off a lot of it bc it was overwhelming. The cupcake was moist and good, it was on the brink of gooey in the middle but I personally like it that way. I’m going back for more at least once a month lol

After eating cupcakes from a bakery in IL, I think my bar for cupcake has been set pretty high. Cupcakes here are pretty good. The two flavors I’ve tried are red velvet and mint chocolate. The red velvet seem too light on cocoa. The mint chocolate was very rich but both were moist which is very important for a good cupcake. They’re piled high with frosting which isn’t super sweet but not melt in your mouth good either. They have probably close to 2 dozen flavors to choose from daily which is pretty extensive for a store in the mall. Service could be friendlier. Reg pricing is a bit high. The current Tues promo of $ 2/cupcake is a great value. Not a bad option for someone who has a sweet tooth.

We just finished a movie at the AMC and I wanted to check out the mall. As soon as I entered I noticed their store and made a mental note to stop by on my way out. I definitely did and it was Bogo on Thursdays. I got 4 cupcakes and they were all so delicious. My family loved them and said they were so moist and full of flavor.

I’m never disappointed when I decide on CamiCakes. All cupcakes look great. The red velvet cupcake tastes like Heaven. Sugar rush city!

The BEST and ONLY cupcakes in North Florida 2 jacksonville locations Moist !!!(which is very important to me) The best red velvet Traditional and real red velvet not the fake food coloring or «chocolate cake version» Innovative flavors like sweet potato and Elvis –Banana, red velvet, sweet-potato, lemon and strawberry cheesecake are my favorites ! — eat them within two days because they will dry out — one is more than enough for one person — excellent frosting and garnishes by flavor — standard cupcake price — other locations offer minis and ice cream and whole cakes Check them out!!!

So, I grabbed me an Iced Green Latte and I wanted something sweet to go along with it… and I came across this place and the smell of the cupcakes caught my attention. I like to see and taste creative foods. The presentation-dope(aka really good). The cupcake design-creative. The service-really good. **Note: If you are dating someone who loves sweets, stop by this place… it’s soooooo worth it. So, check it… I ordered the peanut butter chocolate and the white chocolate macadamia cupcake and it was SOOOO freakin’ good, the flavors and the softness of the cake itself was a great combination!!! Nice Work Cami!!!

You don’t expect to find great cupcakes inside a mall — at least I don’t. In fact being attached to a mall is the equivalent of advertising that you specialize in low-price/low-quality eats. That’s why I was a bit hesitant to buy a bunch from Camicakes when my wife requested them for her birthday instead of cake. Well, I can tell you, Camicakes is neither low-quality nor low-priced($ 2.95 each or $ 31/dozen). We ended up purchasing a ridiculously unnecessary amount of cupcakes because my mother-in-law«just had to try them all». There is only so many cupcakes a human should try in the space of a couple of days. Luckily, the cupcakes were generally pretty dang good. There were a few sad misses like the red velvet(which is usually my favorite choice of treat but ended up being extremely vinegary) and the banana cream(which tasted like stale banana chips) but overall there was a solid selection of good flavors. My personal favorites were the Sweet Potato(trust me on this one!!) and the Key Lime. The icing is particularly good on all their cupcakes so the ones that didn’t hit the mark were due to the cake itself. Now before you judge me for the shear mass of cupcakes I tasted on this trip to Camicakes, let me state that I only indulged in pieces of the cupcakes, not whole cakes. It was still gluttonous but I feel better stating that. Camicakes aren’t exactly award winning cupcakes and are far from the best I’ve had but I had to give them credit because some of their flavors are simply killer(sweet potato) and I will be back for more. My only other comment is that they are quite pricey for the size and quality especially if you compare them to the world-renowned cupcakes from Sprinkles(in Cali/AZ) or my personal favorites at Grandma Freda’s in Cleveland which are much much bigger and/or cheaper.

If it weren’t for Sweet by Holly at the Town Center, they’d probably get a higher rating. But darn that Holly… every cupcake I eat gets compared to those! LOL Before I even talk about the cupcakes, I want to talk about the customer service. It sucks. Plain and simple. It really, really sucks. I have never seen one happy person working here. No one ever smiles. No one every greets me. The faces on the people who work here are just expressionless. Whatever… just give me my damn cupcake! Now… for the cupcakes. They are $ 2.75 each which is a whole quarter less than a cupcake from Sweet by Holly. The cupcakes are a good bit smaller though. They aren’t much bigger than the size of a standard cupcake you’d make at home. The icing is really, really sweet. Almost too sweet… like overkill. The actual cakes have always been extremely moist, so they do have that going for them. But often, I can’t eat but maybe half of the icing because it is just too darn sweet. To continue to compare them with Sweet by Holly, I can eat one of these cupcakes in one sitting(and quite quickly too). When I get a cupcake from Holly, it takes me two days to eat it over about 3 – 4 sittings. That’s a big darn cupcake! And they taste better too! My other gripe about this place is the boxes they put the cupcakes in. They aren’t big enough and they squish the icing down. They need to figure out a different container. Holly using like little Chinese take out boxes and they hold the cupcakes perfectly without squishing them. I still give them 3 stars because they are«ok.» Sometimes I’m just craving a cupcake and I don’t wanna drive all the way out to The Town Centre to get one from Holly. So I give in to my craving and get one from here.

I’ve only heard of how amazing CamiCakes are by my co-workers, so I had to get a CamiCake after seeing a movie at the Orange Park Mall Theater. I never enter the mall by the Movie theater, so I had always forgotten to get a CamiCake to-go. Well, I was super excited by the display case of cupcakes that face the mall hallway. I decided to go with the original CamiCake and the Peanut Butter and Chocolate cupcake. I cut myself a quarter of each one and dove in to them when I got home. Unfortunately, the frosting on the CamiCake was so mediocre that I spit it out immediately. I nibbled a piece of the plain cupcake and realized that I would not be eating this cupcake. Well, I had to see if the Peanut Butter and Chocolate cupcake was better. The frosting was better, but not good. The cake part was also better than the first, but definitely not worth the glowing reviews I’ve heard from my co-workers. I’m glad I’ve tried CamiCakes so, that I know it is my co-workers who need to try more cupcake places.

I’ve been to two of their locations and the cupcakes have been great. My two favs are Elvis and red velvet. The only one I’ve tried that wasn’t amazing was the key lime. The white choc raspberry is also amazing.

I went to Cami Cakes on today while visiting and got a couple different cupcakes! I bought the original, Banana Cream, Red Velvet and The Elvis. I must say the one I did try(banana cream) was AWESOME! It were moist and the icing was perfect! You can’t beat $ 2.75 per cupcake either. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to a friend. Overall Cami Cakes lived up to the hype!

This place is conveniently located at a mall but the people that work there are definitely lacking customer service. I was shocked by that because I read previous reviews right here. Seems like over the years they got rid of their good employees. I definitely would not go back and the cupcakes don’t change my opinion. They taste store bought and not home made. Overall, it’s just a disappointment. I recommend just going across the street to Target where you can get more bang for your buck.

The employees who used to work here made me feel super trendy, when I would go a buy a cupcake, like I was at some super up scale place and I was really important. Now the employees that work their act like I’m inconveniencing them by providing business. It makes me sad. Customer service is really important, and I just don’t think they have ANY. But the cup cakes are soo good and yummy that I still have to give them a 4 star review even if their employees suck.

I thought I might die the first time I took a bite of a CamiCakes Cupcake. The best sellers are the Red Velvet and the Original. The Red Velvet is absolutely TODIE for. My goal is to try them all!(i will have to space this out quite a bit) My favorite so far is the banana Cream cupcake. I thought it couldn’t get any better than the Red Velvet until I tried this one. Absolute Heaven. Definitely give this place a try! I was quite pleased with the good prices as well!

I’ve only got a couple minutes to type this before the the sugar induced coma kicks in so here it goes: if you could only eat 1 cupcake before you die, drive as quickly as possible to the Orange Park Mall and get one of these. The cakes are moist. The different flavors are to die for(my personal preference is the cinnamon cake).

Flashback: Back when Cami Cakes was only open for a few weeks. Back when they were by the food court. I tasted the driest Red Velvet cake I’d ever had. After that, I didn’t bother to try Cami Cakes again. My sister usually provided a plethora of delicious cupcakes from her workplace(see Sweet! by Good Golly Miss Holly in Orlando). Present Day: Sis is in town and did not bring cupcakes! Dying for cupcakes. We decide to give Cami Cakes another try. Boy, I’m glad we did! I had a Vanilla cupcake with Chocolate Italian Buttercream. It was divine!!! Italian Buttercream is fluffier and a little less sweet than traditional buttercream. Highly recommend!

yes. yes. and uhm. yes. camicakes — my heart belongs to you. unfortunately — my diet prohibits you from being in my stomach often. your hazelnut cupcake is the best. you just need to serve milk at this location — kinda like the southside location does.

The cupcake craze has struck the 904. This craze has spread like wildfire from West to East and in LA it is dying a very slow death. Thankfully the thrill is nearly gone. One cannot get away with charging $ 2.50 for such a delicious but small pastry. The 2 red velvet cupcakes were superb. The left coast version of this sweet treat is severely lacking. That version is dry, bland, and not very rich, whereas, CamiCakes’s entry is the complete opposite without the richness. The only thing that prevents it from garnering the coveted 5 red stars.
