Bungee Jump

This is a great piece of entertainment to have right smack dab in the middle of the food court at the Orange Park Mall. I love watching the kids bungee jump while I’m eating my lunch (or dinner — whichever the case may be). i have seen children as young as about 3 years old on this and I’ve seen teenagers on this. I’m sure adults probably have tried this out, I’ve just personally never seen anyone over about the age of 16 on it.
I watch the 2 guys who run it and they seem to be really great with kids. They do a good job at making sure they are harnessed in correctly and they help the little ones get a higher bounce because they don’t have the strength in their legs to do it on their own yet. I’ve also seen the guys give the kids longer on the «ride» than they are suppose to and that’s always nice!
The bad thing about the bungee jump is it’s quite expensive. The cost is $ 6.00 for 3 minutes and $ 9.00 for 5 minutes. They do take Visa, Mastercard, and Discover which is very convenient. :) I do feel sorry for the parents who have to tell their children, «no.» This thing takes up the entire center of he food court, so it’s kinda hard to miss. Once your kid has seen it, they’ve seen it.
There is no age limit, but there is a weight limit. There’s a minimum of 20 pounds and a maximum of 180 pounds.
I took away a star because of the astronomical fees, but I added back half a star because they do generally let you «jump» longer than your allotted time. So overall this bungee jumping monstrosity gets 3.5 stars from me!
