I love the store and I love that it is close. Finally somewhere close by where I can get a hard to find great beer, as well. Never had a bad experience there and the owner is very helpful.

I personally love this store. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to share advice or suggestions. The homebrew shop is well stocked and the grain mill is on point, he also has a great selection of yeasts and various other ingredients. Definitely grateful to not have to go downtown for my homebrew needs anymore.
The bottle shop is awesome, great selections and competitive pricing to save the drive to the towncenter. Typically if he doesn’t have it in stock he will order it and have it in little to no time. Over the holidays it was the only place in town that wasn’t out of stock of Funky Buddha Sweet Potato. Glad to have him here, let’s support local economy!

BAD BUSINESS!!!
In response to the last review from the woman who was very unprofessional and rude… if you want to continue to flourish in your «successful» business, learn not to do what you did/​said to me. I will never return there and felt the need as a consumer to warn others if considering your services.
NOTE TO CONSUMERS, DON’T CATCH HER WHEN SHE’S HUNGRY!!!

I love having a good home-​brew supply store close by. One of the reviewers said the owner was not interested in helping her. I can’t imagine him being disinterested, unhelpful, or anything other than excellent in helping a customer. I’ve been by several times to pick up supplies and ingredients for brewing and he has made suggestions, personally showed me choices (not just pointed the direction) and has helped me formulate new recipes. His grain mill is top of the line, great selection.
The beer store side of the house is very welcome as he stocks some hard to find bottles of brew. It’s not cheap, but about the same as Total Wine without the drive and these brews aren’t exactly the ones you’ll find on sale at Winn Dixie.
Very happy this store is in town. It’s my go to place for home-​brew ingredients and new beers.

I suppose I should give this place an average rating since my first review was five stars and second one. The owner messaged me back regarding my last unhappy experience. For that, I commend him and will give this place another chance. The prices for bottles are still too high, but for beer making supplies other than that, it is reasonable and beats driving to riverside or downtown. I hope our next visit is better.
