When we decided to switch back to AT&T from TMobile, we stopped in this AT&T store in the Orange Park mall quite a few times. We had a lot of questions about the different plans and we were positive we wanted to each get an iPhone 5s in gold(they were pretty scarce at the time). On the first visit to this store, Ben was very helpful answering our questions, etc. I even wrote a quick tip to tell everyone how helpful he was. I’ve since updated the quick tip with how helpful he is not! It was a Sunday when we were first there and about 10 minutes before closing, he started getting really short with us and pushing us out of the store. I wasn’t real thrilled with that. But, he gave me his cell phone number and told me to call with any questions. I definitely had more questions, so a couple of days later, I gave him a call and he didn’t answer. He did immediately send me a text asking who I was. I texted back and told him. He sent me a text back saying he didn’t answer his phone unless he knew who was calling him. Ummm?! What?! Then why the hell did you give me your number, dude?! Anyway, I texted him my question and never got a response. The next day I called again. He didn’t answer. He texted me and asked how I he could help me(at least he knew who I was this time). I texted him my question. Once again, no response. Hmmm… is this guy aware that he works on commission?! Hubby and I went to the store and he wasn’t in. The other guy there said he couldn’t help us since we’d been working with Ben. What?! Ok. A few days later we went back to the store again. Ben was with other customers. We must have waited half an hour(while the other guy working was doing nothing) until we finally gave up and left. Just FYI, this is not an actual AT&T store… they are contracted out or something. It shouldn’t make a difference. Hubby and I ended up dealing with Richard at a REALAT&T store on Argyle Forest in OP and he is awesome! I’m going to make that the next review I write and will put a link here for that store. Go there! I will never conduct business at this particular AT&T again. You may be wondering why I’m giving it 2 stars rather than 1 star. Because I don’t like writing 1 star reviews and I write very few of them. It takes a lot… and I mean A LOT for me to write a 1 star review. I guess if you have to come into this store just to pay your bill or something then it’d be ok. And Ben… if you’re reading this… you lost a big commission… and you suck at your job!
