This is my first time walking into this store. It was clean, organized, and the associate was bright, cheery, and helpful. Payless is notorious for having some sort of sale going on. I found two pairs of sandals for $ 12 using their BOGO50% off sale. I guess what soured my mood about this store was that I did what any savvy shopper does. I got my shoes in hand, and whipped out my RetailMeNot app on my phone. For those who are new to this, it’s an app that keeps up with store coupons. Enter what store or restaurant your at, and it will pull up coupons you can use at the registers. Payless had a particular coupon I wanted to use. I would have understood completely if the store wouldn’t accept my coupons on items that were already marked down, that happens often. Instead, I was told that this store doesn’t accept ANY RetailMeNot coupons. If that were the case, why is Payless a partner with the app? Why did I have a Payless coupon code to begin with if Payless doesn’t accept coupons? She offered no further explanation. I may or may not be back. Not sure how I feel about returning yet.

It’s just ok. Nothing outrageous stands out. It’s probably because of the area its in. The plaza here is in desperate need of a facelift. The two snobs at the register this Saturday can be annoying. Otherwise, it fairs as well as any other Payless.

I’ve been here a couple of different times and wound up with some *awesome* pairs of airwalks on sale for $ 10 a pair. AMAZING!!! It’s a rather small store, so they don’t have too much to offer as far as variety and sizes go, but… did you see the part where I said, on multiple occasions, I bought a pair of shoes for $ 10? Yeah.
