We just had the most wonderful stay at The Heritage House. Haley is so sweet and thought of everything! She even packed us(a very delicious) breakfast-to-go because she knew we had to get an early start traveling back to Boston. Her home is unbelievably beautiful. She and her mother have such an eye for detail and design. My husband and I have stayed in several B&Bs across the country and this is the one to beat. The home is located just a block from the cute historic downtown in Opelika. It was just a short walk to lunch, window shopping and poking around. We truly enjoyed our time at the heritage house and totally recommend you stop in and experience absolute southern charm at its best! Thanks Haley! Hope to see you again!

A colleague and I recently stayed at the Heritage House in an effort to avoid yet another round of chain hotel experiences(which are fine, but…) It was his first ever time at a B&B and I think he’s now ruined forever by the very high standard Haley has set! The whole place is in gorgeous restored condition. The rooms were huge, comfy, and classy.(And by classy, I mean: I love an old building, but I’m definitely not trying to live in a room that looks like my Aunt Tilly’s powder pink, rose chintz, doily-explosion kind of situation.) Also, Haley makes her own, perfect, buttery croissants; worth every calorie. I woke up to that, fresh coffee, and a little bird singing his little, mental heart out in the garden. Perfect.

My wife and so have stayed in different B&B’s in both the U.S. and Internationally. This may possibly be our favorite ever. The home is unbelievably nice, the bedrooms are nicer than the Ritz, breakfast was delicious and the hosts are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. We were visiting family that attend school at Auburn. We are already trying to plan our next trip.
