Fairfield Inn & Suites Auburn Opelika

Surprised only one other person has taken time to review this property and none in the last 18 months.
This Fairfield Inn & Suites is very representative of the quality look and feel of other locations of the same name in the Marriott family of hotels.
While I felt that my rate was on the high side for a Fairfield and because there was absolutely no event going on at nearby Auburn University during my stay, this was a comfortable option to spend the night.
It is a little bit of a drive to get to the Auburn campus, but it was right off the interstate and near enough gas stations, restaurants and retail stores. For my purposes of playing golf at Grand National (RTJ Golf Trail), the only better hotel option would have been to stay at the actual Marriott resort on property and I had no need to spend the addtional money to do so.
Everything in my room at this Fairfield Inn was in working order and I found floors, bathroom facilities and bedding to be tremendously clean.
The customer service that was offered to me by both the front desk and the kitchen/​breakfast area were superb. This despite the night manager being right back at it around 10am the next morning, although he claimed he had gone home and gotten a little sleep overnight.

Nice mid priced hotel convenient to Tiger Town and a short ride from the University. Nice on areas. Free breakfast Rooms are not really very large but many do offer two queen beds which is nice for the family.
It hits your main hotel issues: clean, quite, and reasonably priced.
