At first, I was reluctant since it’s inside a gas station but the Food taste really good and cheap. Service is pretty good.

OK so me and my coworker went here today wanted soul food.. The restaurant was clean and employees very friendly and professional. OK now about the food I ordered the turkey wings, peas and rice, mac and cheese, and field/​black eye peas. The turkey had a good flavor, but lacked something, salt is one and something else not sure what it was. The mac & cheese was just ok, I would order it again though. The peas and rice was bland no flavor, when I heated up my plate later I added accent and salt and it tasted better. The peas was ok too, but I’m not a fan of blackeye peas, so the jury is still out. I also ordered the pork souse and I threw it away (personally) I didn’t like it at all there was no seasoning I will not order it again. My coworker said the same thing about the turkey, she loved the mini sweet potato pies, and the yams. We also ordered the flop (ice tea & lemonade mixed) and it was ok, will make our own.
I/​we will most likely return because there’s no where close to us that has soul food after church and no one wants to cook.
Staff is awesome hence the 3 stars.
