Tortas Sinaloa

Food is great! Service is just horrible. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. They never answer the phone to place orders. And going there and ordering to go takes like 20 mins just to get your food.

Where do I began, been coming back here for the past 2 + years for the overall good tasting food, the freshness of its ingredients and the various options. That being said the service or lack of is where this place is hurting. No longer does an employee come to take your order at your table, «order at register» whether is take out or not… ok I can’t get over that. What surprises me is that usually you will find 3 – 4 girls working and when the order is ready they simply yell out your number for you to pick up. This is somewhat disappointing seeing the amount of associates working and it’s not like they are passing the savings to the client by this half self-​serve system. I will definitely return, with low expectations of service but pretty sure my torta and agua de sandia will taste great. BUT what I think it’s worse is that there are multiple and I mean multiple reviews pointing out the POOR service but the management is negligent towards this subject. I guess the Unilocal reviews are not a tool the management team sees useful SMH

Was just there waiting for 3 Fontanas and they took 50 min skipping me and finally they went back to the numbers and called me up very bad service I agree with many other customers. They look good and are good but bad service and that’s what’s important.

Love this place! The food, the drinks, the service. The only problem is they’re too far from my place.

Service has been horrible since the first time i went there which was YEARS ago. STILL sucks. Food is good.

I used to love this place bc of the service they had and now that the owner changed it that we need to go order our food pay for it then and there and pick up our own food this place sucks now bring back what you had before it was a lot better…

I come here just for the fruit drinks, they’re great, just pop in and ask for samples, then sip away whilst relaxing.

The food is delicious, but the worse service ever. I prefer to drive to another Tortas Sinaloa locations because this one has terrible costumer services. Get new servers!

I just went right now in the rain I clearly told the girl only Asada and she puts beans in it are you stupid I would go back but it’s raining hard I just wasted six dollars!!! Never coming back to this place. They don’t understand English I guess!!!

Un lugar muy limpio y el servicio de primera, nuestra mesera Mayra siempre con una sonrisa y amabilidad, la comida buen sabor y las aguas son muy refrescantes.

This is THE place to go for great tortas and aquas frescas.
My favorite is the picosita but there are no bad tortas here.
If you have only had horchata and fruit drinks from a mix, then you owe it to yourself to come here.
One caution about the cucumber drink: many people love it but it is not a sweet drink. Maybe ask for a small taste before you get this one to be sure it is something you will like.

I’m giving this place 5 stars bc the customer service was amazing! I usually get shitty service at places bc I don’t speak Spanish and the employees here were so nice to me!
I ordered the carnitas quesadilla which was decent and Sandia Agua which was amazing! My dad got carne Asada tacos which looked pretty good! I will def come back to try something else soon! :)

I don’t know if I would go anywhere else when I’m craving tortas. They have a big menu selection and the tacos are also very good.
The aguas are delicious and large.
I have no idea why they have a B rating since it is really clean every time I have been there.

My Review is only on the tacos. Recommend getting al pastor and chorizo in the tacos! Meat has a lot of flavor and the presentation is very nice as well. There all fruit juice and horchata is amazing.

I usually come here before a flight from Ontario.
They have a large range of tortas and agua frescas here!
Pros:
–HUGE variety of tortas– definitely a lot of variety here.
–parking is in a huge lot and not an issue
–Tortas are in reasonable portions
–Agua frescas come in a huge cup
–LOVE the pickled veggies that come with every order. I always put these in my sandwiches!
Cons:
–Customer service could be better
–Tables could be cleaned better
–Some tortas are inconsistent– got the Fontana today and the meat was tough!
— somewhat pricey: for two tortas and a drink, it was $ 20.
Overall, I would consider the food and drinks here to be decent, but not spectacular. However, I may still continue coming here before a flight because it still beats airport food!

Un servicio muy malo todo el personal enojadas unas con otras nadamas caminan de un lado a otro sin hacer nada mientras la comida se esta enfriando en la linia para 2 tortas tuve k esperar 45 minutos es demaciado cuando miras k tu comida y la de otras mesas ya esta pero nomas no te la llevan. Digo si no tienen ganas de trabajar para k estan ahi.

I’ve been coming here every now and then and sometimes early in the morning for breakfast and the first thing any of us should expect are clean tables cleaned after closing at the end of the night. I will say this I shouldn’t have to walk in and have to ask for my table cleaned for me when I am clearly the first person there especially with my dad. The floors were cleaned but seriously the tables need more than just a pass of an already dirty rag I need some kind of windex and a paper towel.
The crepes were great better than most places and at a fairly cheap price totally worth it.
The Tortas are pretty good but for me it still doesn’t beat home made Tortas when you don’t have the time give this place a try either dine in or for take out.
(Drinks) here are fabulous although the orchata is a little too sweet for my liking but but they have other drinks and smoothies they make there to tryout.
I will come by again and I hope the tables are cleaned.

I wasn’t particularly WOW-​ed by this place. I had expected so much more. If you are ordering to-​go, head up the register counter to place your order. If you are planning to eat there, grab a table or wait for a server to seat you at one. We made the mistake and went straight up to order and then grabbed a table. Luckily the server was able to place our to-​go orders on a plate.
I split the Sinaloa Especial and a Pastor burrito with a friend. I didn’t see what was so great about the torta. Just a combination of a handful of meats packed in a bun. Included in that meat was hot dog and it made the whole torta taste like spam. Maybe I should’ve ordered something else since the menu was so expansive. Maybe next time if I am in the area. I enjoyed the burrito more as it had more flavor. The Pastor consistency was not what I had usually had but it was OK. The beans were a bit overpowering but since the Pastor was very flavorful, it was a decent balance.
What made this place better was the sauces and sides on the table. The little jar of picked carrots and chilies were good on everything I ate. I had to put it on before every bite. It had a bit of a kick and my group of friends and I went through the whole jar.
I can see the appeal and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Worth a try but I don’t suggest the Sinaloa especial…

My fiancé and I usually get 2 different tortas (one asada and one carnitas) and share one of each.
Last time, I saw a group eating tacos and burritos. I thought, really, at a torta joint that specializes in tortas and they order non-​tortas? Well, the next time we went, I ordered an asada burrito and WOW, it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had!
Service is hit or miss, but the frescas are always consistenly good (and they have a wide variety). They’ll even let you sample if you can’t decide. We usually order: horchata, guayava, cantaloupe, or the tamarindo flavor (jamaica?). Order it with less ice (so you get more juice).

No me quejo de la comida muy buena. Peto el servicio de las meseras es miy malo, que digo malo… Pesimo. Hoy estuve 20 minutos sentafo y ni un menu me arrimaron ni siquiera para ordenar… MUY MAL SERVICIO. Decirle a las mesera que van a trabajar no andar modelandoooo.

Tortas Sinaloa is on my Top 3 places to eat. I bring all of my friends here and they love it. I came here just last week for a chocolate milkshake. I usually get the Fontana torta. Love the avocado in it (so does my mom).
However, today I wanted to try something new, and give their fresh juices a go.
I had the juiced fruit and vegetable concoction suggested by one of the girls working there. It consisted of Kale, Spinach, Celery, Cucumber, Pineapple, Green apple, & Pear. A 16 oz. is only 3.50. You can bet this is healthier than any drink you are going to pick up at Starbucks. I loved it because it was healthy, and it tasted pretty good! It did have more of a celery taste, so maybe I’ll sub that out for something else next time!
In lieu of trying new things, I also tried the carne asada and lengua tacos. I reallyyyy like lengua here! It is so much better than other taco places that serve it. Totally getting that again. I’m glad I asked for everything on the side. The avocado sauce is a tad bit spicy for me, and I can’t have raw onions. I was SO happy. I ate tacos. I haven’t had tacos since the last time I got tacos at Rio Ranch Market, which was like…2 years ago. It feel so great to feel sick!

The aguas frescas are thee best around. I’ve had Pina, Melon, Frutas, and Fresa de con leche. All of them are great. My fav tho is the melon. The tacos are pretty good for being a torta place. Now… the cream of the crop… is the tortas… I’ve had their Fontana, which is a carne asada torta. it was good, nothing too exceptional. Then I tried the torta Cancun, which is Milanesa (breaded steak), jamon (ham), melted cheese, avocado, & some other stuff that I can’t recall… but OMG it is thee best. I definitely recommend this place… I’d say try something other than boring ol carne asada… & definitely try one of the aguas. So refreshing on a hot cali day.
