Ocean Buffet

Decent food, decent service. Never have had to wait to get in. Refill times aren’t very prompt, that’s a big point I look for. You need to get the food on the hibachi, that’s the best part in my eyes. Basically it’s a ‘good enough’ place to eat a meal.

OK I guess, if you’re tight on cash or so. Then again, there’s Burger King and such. I’ll start off by saying I AM biased against buffets, but we wanted to try this one after staying away from a poor first experience several years ago. So, the up sides are a hibachi grill, and a decent selection. I believe there were six buffet bars total; not bad! we were disappointed in the food, it was hit or miss, and not consistent. It was later in the evening, and most of the selections were either low, or out altogether. VERY disappointing in that respect. In their defense, someone (whom I can only assume is the manager) asked me if things were alright, and to let her know if we wanted anything that was out. BIG points for that! In truth, that’s why this review gets 2 stars and not 1. I don’t think we’ll be back at all in truth.
(EDIT: they were pretty busy preparing to close, when I went to pay the bill, I was taken care of by someone who was clearly under ten years old! I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to have a minor doing monetary transactions?)

I visited at 2PM on a weekday and of course I got right in. To my surprise there were six buffet counters, one sushi area and a hibachi grill. After traveling an hour through the corn and bean fields on US 30 needless to say this was an Asian oasis of deliciousness! The servers were kind and spoke English :). The sushi was incredible and fully stocked. I had 10 – 11 kinds of rolls. Everything was fresh. Clean environment. My only point of constructive criticism was the yellow rice, which was a tad on the moist side. The teriyaki chicken and pineapple custard were my favorite. So for $ 7.22 how can you go wrong for an oriental and flavorful feast? Best deal in town /​on US 30 in Ohio — hands down!

Excellent… best buffet we’ve been to! The sushi is Awesome and the hibachi is delicious. Servers are friendly. We love it!

I go here whenever I’m in the area. My absolute favorite Chinese buffet. So many Chinese entrees in addition to some delicious seafood. Highly recommended

Best Chinese buffet i’ve been to so far in the area. Which isn’t saying much really. We went at 5:30, so everything was fresh. Lost of options ave food was good.

Sub_​par, lots of choices but not cooked well. Sushi bar, habatchi grill, and one of the largest food bars in this area. 24 bucks for the buffet for 2 with iced tea.
