Kids Come First

Extremely disappointed with the service! I was in desperate need of care for my two girls. One of which suffers from severe asthma, both seemed to have a sinus infection and where having breathing issues i am without a car and needed help.
My youngest has been suffering from a headache now for 3 days.
I signed up for medical through their office. However because my medical is on the boarder of LA county they would not see my daughters. I was on the phone with Medical trying to rectify the situation for nearly 3 hours. In their office, Medical told me they would have to submit the bill twice in order for it to go through. Even after clarifying everything and expediting the situation through medical in order for my girls to be seen they «STILL» would not see them. I realized at this point it was because I was the only white person in there and my daughters Do Not come first here! I even said I would pay the bill myself and they would not allow my daughters to be seen. DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR KIDS! Especially if they need help and are the wrong color. This was obviously a racial issue and had nothing to do with money! I just want to cry. It was a horrible horrible experience for me and my girls! :’(

When my daughter was 2 months my boyfriends job didn’t add her onto her insurance yet. So we took her here for her shots. I made a appointment for 11am. And got there around 10:45. I checked in and the woman said «Oh we want to reschedule you cause we are pretty full» Mind you that I made my appointment on Monday and it was Friday!
I said «No I’m sorry I made a appointment Monday I believe I should be on your appointment list»
«We’ll you can wait» the woman said .
So I waited .
3 god damn hours?!
Really?! I understand that they were crowded but they were taking walk ins before my daughter who had a appointment!
Finally got in. The dr is nice, I give it that.
Maybe I shouldn’t have been so harsh on the woman I thought so I have it another try when my daughter was 4 months.
Nope. Same issue.
Thank god I will never come here again.

I took my Grandchildren to this clinic to get physicals and shots. I was so impressed with this non-​profit clinic and how professional the staff was, how kind and thorough they were with everything they did for us. My children always had the benefit of Health Insurance and great care. My grandchildren unforturnately do not have this benefit but I can tell you that I was more impressed with the staff and care at this clinic than any other Doctor’s Offices that my insurance paid for. They accept monetary donations, clothes and food donations. I did give a donation and am sad to report that when my grandchildren are added on my insurance they will not be able to return to this clinic :(.
