This café, previously Cherony’s Italian Deli, is now called Harmony Café. I like it for its convenience/location, the friendly staff, and the customizability of the sandwiches. I generally find that any sandwich you get here, mixed with squaw bread, avocado, sprouts, cheese, and toasted, makes for a great sandwich. At around $ 8 for a full sized sandwich including avocado, I think the prices are reasonable personally. They charge an extra fee for paying with a credit card though, which I understand –for a mom and pop style deli– but wish they would waive. Occasionally they’ve made errors in my orders, but the staff has always been friendly and cheerful, which I’ve felt made up for it.

Pretty good but don’t be in a hurry. The girls that work the counter are the only ones here and they get busy! At least they’re friendly! And they remember your order if you’re a creature of habit… like me!

I wished I worked in the building(it’s in the main office building) just so I could hit them up for breakfast and snacks instead of just lunch. The muffins are delicious. Sandwiches are your standard Subway types. They have canned soda, hot soups, and hummus with chips. All hot sandwiches are microwaved, no oven here. I’ll be honest and say there are a lot of gorgeous suited men who frequent this place and I might mostly come for the eye candy. Hey, can’t blame a girl for trying to find Mr. Right while inhaling a tuna melt!

I was hoping for so much more. I wanted to find a deli, somewhere where I could get a good sandwich without going to a chain restaurant. And I wanted to write a good review about this place tucked inside these office buildings. So what happened? The girl took my order(pastrami on rye with a green salad and a drink), it rang up to $ 10.02. So I asked if I could give her $ 10 and go get the $.02. «No, sorry I can’t do that» so my choice was to jingle 98 cents or toss that shit into the tip jar… tip jar it is. So $ 11 for a sandwich and salad I asked if the pastrami was good: «It’s awesome» she said. Then I watched them microwave the pastrami, toast the bread three times, and forget the salad. I ate it, because I was hungry after the 20 minute wait for microwave food, and got a stomach ache. Next time, I’ll stick to the chain stores, or just pay $ 11(incl tip) at a restaurant where I’ll get table service and better food. No need for me to go back.

Cheronys has the best food for breakfast and lunch! Conveniantly located accross from my work, its a great place to make a quick coffee, breakfast, lunch sandwhich stop! Tina is so great with all her customers. She makes you feel right at home! 5 stars on everything from taste to customer service!
