I have loved Casa Sanchez from the first time I came here which was some years ago. The prices were great and the food was amazing. Just recently I heard they were closed and was shocked considering they were always busy. But then I find out it’s because of vermin infestation! Just the thought makes me sick to my stomach.

Yummy as always. Love the chips and salsa. Service is always prompt and the food good and hot. Love the tortilla soup.

Casa Sanchez is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’ve been coming here since I was very young. It’s a family tradition for us now. My favorite things to get are the fresh, delicious menudo and the chimichanga. Also, all the staff is friendly and courteous. As soon as you sit down, they bring you hot and fresh tortilla chips with the best salsa in town! It won’t disappoint!

I have been eating here for about 20 years. I love the food and have introduced many friends to it as well. I noticed the closed for maintenance sign recently and noticed the health dept. sign said closed due to vermin infestation. This made me sick, not sure I can return either. This is said, I loved the food at this place, but not at the risk of my health.

Took my family there on 02÷26÷16 and they had signs posted saying they were closed due to maintenance. I noticed a San Bernardino county health inspector notice on the door. Upon reading the county notice it said the location was closed due to a vermin infestation (rats, mice, cockroaches etc.).

My family and I love this place great authentic Mexican food, great service! We came today and it was temporarily closed for maintenance ! But one sad thing, it’s closed due to «Vermin»!!! Due to a health inspection, «rats» mice, could be anything! Uugh! not sure if we’ll come back after this!

gotta say I’m really disappointed about their recent health dept closure!!! I spend A LOT of money in this place! A LOT! and entrust my & my families well being with this and any restuarant!!! so it really sucks when this kinda of stuff happens! I get treated very well by the staff and appreciate it very much! but the owner dropping the ball on the health and safety of the restuarant, food, employees, and patrons??? is not cool!!! I’m sure the staff is pissed on losing paychecks? not to mention inconvienace of us the patrons! really sucks! hell just in what I spend in a week is more than enough to cover a weekly pest service!!! I sure hope the owner takes this into consideration? because it’s a loved place! I’m pretty sure they’ll lose some loyal customers over this screw up?

Have been to this restaurant for decades and loved it, but after seeing the «vermin infestation» notice on the door tonight, I’m not sure I can return. I mean, not a B or a C, but shut down the restaurant. How bad does it have to be that you get shut down to handle a rodent problem!!! Absolutely disgusting.

Arrived at 7:45pm last night to find the restaurant closed. Had just eaten here last week, so I was confused as to why the restaurant would be closed at this time. My daughter told me there was a note on the door that said, «Closed for maintenance.» I walked up to the door and noticed a San Bernardino County Health Department notice as well. This notice stated that the restaurant was closed due to «Vermin Infestation.» Ummmmmm. Not sure if I will ever return here. So gross.

Food was good. Service was kind of slow at times but we did have a large party. Salads are huge. BIG. El Pescador is next to it but this is mom and pop so I like it. More of a home feeling to it. Will definitely come back again. Portions are good too. Ask for salsa picante if you want to add some spice to your meal.

Where do I even begin, Well let’s start from the beginning… After looking for a place to eat we drive by this place and decided to try it because it’s close and we were hoping to get some really good breakfast, after walking in and standing in front of a table of the hostesses sitting down and eating right in the front we ended up seating ourselves after about ten minutes because no one greeted or even offered to seat us, so we find a table only to be greeted by a few stares from the hostesses behind the counter but we stay to eat anyways because we were really hungry and hoping at least the food was good… Boy was I wrong! My daughter ordered the chicken nuggets which come to find out are the frozen dinosaur ones you buy at the supermarket and some stale fries, all our food was tasteless!!! me and my wife both ordered the chillequilles and my son got the taquitos everything was Luke warm and flavorless so bad that half way through I asked for boxes and the check I will never ever return here ever again!!! My advice try this place at your own risk!

Portions are great. Flavor is authentic. Service is friendly and quick. Decore is a bit cheesy but its fine. Most importantly the restroom is clean. Definitely will return.

Once u come in u feel like ur at home casa. Great service & good delicious food. Great restaurant to invite your family or someone.

I don’t want to completely trash this place but it needs a wake-​up call. Food is cooked/​prepared with no passion. It seems more like a buffet line with lazy employees. I have been here a couple of times and it seems like it has been going downhill. Shape this place up.

So my brother just moved out to chino and we decided to give this joint a try. We got seated pretty quickly. Since we had never been before we all took a little bit of time to order. We had come for breakfast but none of us could find the omelet styles/​good breakfast choices we were looking for so that was a little disappointing. Also the prices were kinda high, I spent $ 14 on a burrito! We got our food pretty quickly for being a party of 6, overall the food was okay but nothing special or amazing about it. We also ordered a fried ice cream to share, everyone at the table liked it but I wasn’t feeling it too much. I think we were hoping for a lot more than we got, but it wasn’t terrible. It for sure won’t be the first place I wanna go to or think of when wanting mexican food in Chino tho.

Excellent place for Mexican food. Old but clean restaurant has an extensive menu with good quality food. It’s not a gourmet place, but a good family run alternative to the national chains.

Horrible server! She was short with us and rushed us when we asked questions about the menu. Then when it came time to write out the tip she stood there and waited. How uncomfortable, she just stood there. The food was pretty good but maybe the service just took away from our first time there. Not sure I’ll go back again.

Got the nacho supremos instead of beef I got chicken it was to go. When I got home the chips were all soggy not one chip was hard. Other than that still good. My favorite is their guacamole.

This place oozes with traditional Mexican feel. You feel transported to Mexico at someone’s families house.
When you walk in your greeted and seated. The manager treats you like family. The servers are happy to get you something with alcohol.
Let’s not forget the show. So much fun.

I definitely come here a lot. It’s a staple for me for lunch during the work week. They have a good selection of lunch specials and everything is honestly amazing. Their refried beans are on point and I’m kind of picky when it comes to beans, so that’s big for me. I have had their beef taquitos, shredded beef tacos, nachos, pork chimichanga, chicken quesadilla, albondigas, cocido and pazole. Everything has been delicious. One of the best Mexican restaurants around. Oh and their guacamole is actual chunky and fresh guac, not that runny stuff a lot of places have been using lately. The owner is way sweet, always recognizes us and comes to say hi and gives us hugs when he can. And the waitresses are always sweet and fast. It’s easy to get in and out on my lunch hour.
