Bally Spa & Massage

For some weird reason I had to pay BEFORE I got my massage. then here comes the good part.
Lets just say that the massage lady got mad with the tip I initially gave her.
Then she said «No, my tip $ 20.00». she continued to argue that she deserved $ 20
Therefore I just gave her no tip and walked out.
Ive never heard of somebody so rude…

This place is amazing. I have been there a few times. Every time I went, the ladies were kind and sincere. The massage itself was great. They really know how to work out all those knots in the back. I can honestly say this is the best massage spot anywhere near me. I have read the negative reviews here, and call bull crap.

This spa is a diamond in the rough. It is very clean and humble which allows the spa to offer affordable services. The therapists are traditional Chinese medical practitioners turned massage therapists. This spa is not for light weights.
If you want to engage in some good conversation while having your back rubbed, then you outta go to Grannie’s house. These ladies get to work and are attentive to what your posture and your muscles are saying. They are friendly and they have strong healing hands.
You pay upfront. You have to take into consideration that they are two ladies alone in the heart of downtown Ontario.
I had the best experience ever. Again no glitz and glam just a world class massage. Try them out. You won’t regret it. They’ll get the job done. I got a dry rub, got basted in warm oil, and they threw on some piping hot stones. I walked away without any kinks or knots in my back. Can’t wait to try their foot reflexology. Bally Spa and Massage is amaaaazin’ so amaaazin!

Very nice. Comfortable and friendly. Don’t judge by the neighborhood. Recommend because it’s clean, and lady was nice. :)

My husband and I called for a last minute appointment for a couples massage. We told them that we could be there in 30 mins and they said ok. What worried me was that they didn’t take our names down, so sure enough when we got there some other couple came in and they took them in, instead of us. No biggie we waited for them to finish and they were nice and offered us water while we waited.
If I would have known that getting a couples massage in the same room would involve the therapists talking to one another throughout the ENTIRE massage, I would have asked for separate rooms. The massage was decent, but I have definitely had better, my therapist (name unknown) was huffing and puffing and would stop contact while she was talking to the other therapist. To top it off, our massages were cut by about 10 – 15 mins. I work in the spa industry and I pay attention to timing. All in all I told my husband before hand to prepare to give Good tips, and with all of the mentioned above at the end I quickly mentioned to only tip $ 5/​each.
When we came out of the room my therapist was standing outside the room. I handed her the tip and she counted it right in front of me, she then asked me if she did a good job? I explained to her that she did (didn’t have heart to be honest) and said but you cut our time by almost 15 mins and we payed up front for 1 hour. She then blocked the door (I’m not kidding) and demanded that we tip more! I tried to keep my cool and explained that she can not tell us how much to tip and if she would have at least gave us 60 mins we would have tipped very well. She started yelling (LOUD) for other therapist to come out and was arguing with her in an Asian language. It was crazy like out of a movie crazy. We then were able to walk out and she slammed her clipboard down on counter as we walked out loud enough to hear outside the door. She was furious, and scary! As you could imagine, not a very nice way to end our massage experience.
I sadly can’t even give them 1 star,(had to, to submit) the lady looked like she was going to hurt us! I was patient with the hour long wait when we called and supposedly made an appt, patient with the talking and half a** massage, patient with the cutting of time and still was offering a tip. The screaming and blocking the door was just wayyyy too much. Not worth it even if its cheap.

My bf bought me a gift certificate for 1 hour massage. The place has curtains which seperate each massage station and once you go in to your station they have soft music and very dim lighting. It was relaxing and not uncomfortable what so ever.
