Do not stay here unless it is the only option. Rooms are nasty and have a unique smell to them. Carpet and fixtures are at least 20 years old. There is a small window unit for the room that is cut into the back wall of the room but doesn’t cool the room. Fortunately the temperatures were moderate for August but didn’t really feel safe leaving the windows open.

The motel was convenient. Low rates, $ 85 a night for two double beds. They have free wifi, just ask for the password at the front desk. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. About 20 minutes from Cooperstown Dreams Park. Nice area, good shopping and dining close by. Room had water spots on the ceiling and smelled musty but the AC was cold and the water was hot. It wasn’t the nicest place but it really could have been worse. Not bad for the price you pay.

Trademark infringement lawsuit waiting to happen? A curious blend of «Super 8 Motel» and«Motel 6» seem to have inspired the nomenclature here. It’s certainly an interesting motel — not often that you can get a room with THREE double beds in it. Perfect for stuffing 18 alcoholic bachelor party-goers into three rooms for about $ 16 a piece. I’ll do the math for you — it was $ 95 for a Friday night stay. We had a mini-fridge, an HDTV, a microwave, and best of all, wood paneling! It’s old and run down, but you didn’t really need me to tell you that. The water was hot and the mattresses were fine. Best part: Chinese Buffet as the anchor restaurant! All you can sleep AND eat!
