On Saturday March 15th, Tony and I visited the Bandy Creek Visitors Center which is part of the Big South Fork Recreation Area and Park. We stopped here where this is maps, brochures, a small museum and rangers to talk to. We gathered our hiking maps and got some useful instructions from the Ranger. Also this is highly populated Black Bear area so he gave us plenty of warning. They are coming out of hybernation and baby cub time. so big warnings.
