Ever since I was a kid I have always enjoyed Perkins and that locations was just as I remembered. Dining at 11:30 on a Sunday morning can be tricky at establishments like this. We entered and found several groups waiting for tables. The hostess had her back to the door. She seemed a little overwhelmed, we had to gain her attention to get on the list for a table. We were told the wait would be approximately 15 minutes. We were seated in less than 10. The place was hopping, servers and bus boys were working like a well oiled machine. My paramour and I ordered and were able to have a conversation. The place was busy but not loud, you could still hear the music playing overhead. Our food arrived and was exactly as expected. As we were heading to the door our server chased us down to give my paramour her pen and notebook she had left on the table. As busy as they were it was a nice reminder of humanity. Our grocery list was on the pad, I would have been frustrated and hungry this week if not for her. And for that I thank you. We will be back.

Of the two Perkins in the LaCrosse area, this one is my favorite. The servers are efficient and friendly, and I have yet to have had a disappointing meal. But recently, the food has come from the kitchen quite slowly. There are«now hiring» signs posted outside. I suspect they need additional cooks. So, if you’re planning on eating here, don’t be in a hurry. From the time my waitress took our order(2 for breakfast: mini waffle platter and farmer’s omlet) to the time the food arrived at the table was 27 minutes. P. S. When I told the manager at checkout that everything was fine except how long it took for the food to come, she didn’t charge us for the meal.

Went to Perkins for brunch and the meal and the service was great. I like this Perkins because the food is always very consistent. Also, the Lemon meringue pies was awesome.

Let me start by saying this; I love Perkins. Seriously. Whenever I travel to Wisconsin or Minnesota for work, I eat breakfast at Perkins at least twice. However, this one sucks. How hard is it to tell the difference between French silk and coconut cream? Answer: not hard!!! You had one job! And now I’m stuck with a piece of disgusting coconut cream while a wonderful piece of sweet, smooth, delicious French silk sits lonely in the cooler with tubs of butter and pancake syrup. It should be in my belly!!! Lesson of the night, always check your pie container before you leave.

Not as bad as the reviews. I was in town for few days and avoided here at all costs because the bad reviews. But one day, father’s day morning, didn’t have anything opened besides here. So why not? Service was great, warm cupcake and good omelet. Who can fu… up an omelette anyways?

The place is filthy. Stopped in here late 10 pm for a quick bite. Every table is full of dirty dishes. Yuk. Great service though by our server Dylan!

I have been to the Perkins several times in LaCrosse, have always loved the food and prices. I went for the first time to the Perkins in Onalaska last month and ordered a burger for the first time. Usually I order breakfast or chicken. After I took a few bites I could see how rare my burger still was and felt ill. My waitress stated they could recook it more but I had to leave because the sight of the food made me feel sick. They then charged me for the burger too. Would not recommend eating a Burger there.
