Walmart Neighborhood Market

i liked it better when this was a Hobby Lobby. Excited to try it, but again, I only went for PBR. $ 14.99 for a case. that is the best deal in town. I will suffer the teenage curmudgeon at the checkout to save a few dollars. the LED and motion sensor lighting is new and looks good. the food choices and under-​ripe produce leaves more to desire

I had really high hopes for this place. I have been in a regular and Super Walmart before and the service pretty much sucked and it took forever to get in and out of the store because the stores are so huge. So, this being a smaller Walmart that had the name ‘Market’ in it’s name I imagined some heavenly store that concentrated on high quality produce and healthy brands of food, people smiling, some sort of heavenly light coming from above as I walked in the doors maybe. Nope. None of that. At this particular location of Walmart Market I was really disappointed. My wife and I went in the first week and went straight to the produce section only to find the broccoli section strewn about, all the fruits and vegetables looks stagnant, meaning that things looked like they had just sat around for hours without any sort of misting to keep things fresh. There was also a mop bucket sitting by one of the shelves with dirty water in it and a bunch of «slippery when wet» signs cluttered together. The service also wasn’t really friendly. I don’t really expect someone to talk your ear off and treat you like your their best friend but they could at least be engaging, maybe ask how you’re doing, or possibly smile maybe. So overall, if you go to this location don’t expect much.
