I can’t really comment on the dine in experience as I’ve only gotten take out from here, but I am a fan. The tacos are seriously good– especially the barbacoa. Is it real barbacoa? I don’t care– they are seriously tasty. The carnitas are pretty good as well. Everyone complaining about the cost is silly. This isn’t Taco Bell– you get what you pay for. In this case, you get hi

I wanted to love this. The voodoo dolls on the walls, the black chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, the modern décor, interesting and creative menu options. All of those things should have created a new favorite for me, unfortunately I was SO disappointed! My fiancé and I decided to stop in over our lunch hour, he has had Voodoo Taco before at another location, I had not, but I was excited to try it. First of all, it was freezing in there. We ate lunch with our coats on, which isn’t the most pleasant experience. This is just a comfort thing and easily changed so I wouldn’t knock the entire place on this alone. We waited in line to order for about 15 minutes. There was only one cashier during the lunch hour rush and he was not moving very quickly. You would think not only during lunch, but also with the opening of a brand new location they would anticipate the need for multiple cashiers. After we ordered we found a table and sat down. The entire place was packed and we were lucky to find a table at all, should be a good sign, right? Well as we sat and waited for our food I overheard and watched the couple next to us complaining about waiting for 20 minutes for their order, then the order coming out wrong. I heard two woman telling the guy running the food to the tables that their food was also wrong. I watched a man by himself wait at least 30 minutes for his one taco to come out. This wasn’t very promising, but I continued to wait for my food, and hoped to be blown away. After 40 minutes from the time we we walked in the door my fiancé eventually got up himself to go find our food. There were only two cooks, and one guy running the food to the tables and no one was acting with any sense of urgency whatsoever. We did eventually get our food, and I was very surprised how small the one taco I received was. For the price I was sure I would at least get a large taco or maybe two small tacos, but almost $ 5 bucks for a child size taco seemed ridiculous. Also, I had ordered the Chipolte Ranch sauce, never saw it. Not to mention I ordered beans and rice on the side, another $ 3 bucks, and a drink for another $ 2 bucks. So between the two of us we spent over $ 20.00 on a lunch that left us still hungry and rushed for time as we had waited forever for our food and had to get back to work. All of this could be overlooked if my mind was blown by the food, but it wasn’t. It was good, it was alright, but not worth the wait or the price for me. I may try it one more time to give this place another chance, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone anytime soon.

Great Service! Was our first time in and our server was very helpful in explaining the different menu options. The food was great too!

I love this place! I work right across the street and have stopped in more times than I care to admit. Yeah, I’m «that guy» when I walk in the door. My go-to meal is a blackened mahi-mahi, and whatever the«taco of the month» is at the time. I’ve yet to leave disappointed. Now, all this«taco talk» is making me hungry. Time to head across the street!

Went on Sunday afternoon was only one other couple in there. Ordered our food to go and my wife ordered the magi-mahi no onions. Got food home, loaded with onions. All our tacos were. Maybe they don’t travel well, but all the tacos were cold. Last couple trips have been disappointing, but maybe still working out the kinks.

Overpriced, mediocre Mexican. Pros: Novel menu, voodoo dust made with ghost chili powder. Everyone enjoys the chips & queso or guacamole. Cons: Most tacos approach $ 5 for a single taco that tastes homemade, in a basic homemade kind of way(not an amazing way that indicates the cook has mastered the dish).
