Positives: Our server, Grace, was very nice. Also, the waffle fries were ok I guess. Negatives: My meal was awful. I’m not a chef, but my meal tasted like leftovers taken out of the microwave. The meatloaf was hot on the outside and cold in the middle and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were made last week. Disgusting. To top things off, the bathroom at an NFL stadium smells better than the bathroom here. I would rather go to McDonalds. At least there, a manager will come to your table and ask why you were unhappy with your meal See you never Twisted Fork.

The night can only get better if you start it off with dinner there. The waitress decided that she would tell us the specials and introduce herself before we even got to pull our chairs out from the table which was weird to start things off. We ordered a sandwich and chicken over ristotto and got our food cold and it was clearly frozen and reheated. The part that scared us the most was that we got our food literally 3 minutes after we ordered it, meaning it was not fresh whatsoever. For a $ 15 plate you’d expect a little more than 2 spoonfuls of risotto. It was truly amazing how awful this place was considering it got good reviews(somehow). Bad service and even worse food. Don’t waste your money there!

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We try to go as often as we can. In the summer its so nice to sit on the patio. They have a great selection of different dishes you cant find anywhere else. The staff is always friendly.

Soup of the moment: delicious dill pickle soup! We had the Apple smoked bacon ranch burger, which was cooked perfectly & the Gouda smoked mac n cheese, was to die for! Coupled it with a glass of the Moose drool! Anna, our waitress, was such a doll! Great experience!

Great food. Somewhat diverse menu. Only problem I had was that the wait staff was pretty rude. Our server made somewhat rude comments to one of my friends that came with us about her personality. We had three people and ordered an appetizer that really only worked for two people(two lettuce wraps) but waiter did not inform us it would be an awkward split for three people.(A heads up would have been nice). Overall, we thought our waiter seemed annoyed to *have* to serve us. We left feeling awkward and embarrassed. Probably won’t go back again because of this. Have been twice and had same experience. :(bummer because the food is pretty dang good

Ordered chicken fried bacon… was good! Went down hill from there… was expecting more flavor. Unimpressed. They need to clean, while waiting for food and looking at décor on walks and ceiling, everything is covered in dust.

This is what I envisioned in an Omaha comfort food restaurant. Started with chicken fried bacon… yes an amazing tasty iconic app. Split four ways was a great warm up to my chicken fried steak with creamy mashed. Also sampled hearty meatloaf at our table. Great atmosphere, solid recommendations from attentive smart staff made for a great weeknight visit.

Food: 4 Service: 5 Cleanliness: 2 Cost: 3 Food: 4 We had the stuffed chicken, meatloaf & fried bacon. Defiantly a uniqueness to the pallet. The fried bacon paired with country gravy was awesome. The stuffed chicken had cream cheese which is always a win but needed some salt. The meatloaf was missing a bit of flavor & tasted bland. Service: 5 Great service, personable but not too overwhelming Cleanliness: 2 The women’s restroom smelled like it hadn’t seen a sanitizer, steam mop or cleaner in decades. It was awful. I could barely hold my breath. My child quickly commented on the stench as soon as we walked in to wash our hands. My spouse said the men’s restroom was about the same. Cost: 3 For 2 adults &1 kid it was $ 50. Food portions were average. But we could have spent $ 30 at Applebee’s & had clean bathrooms & a flavorful meal. Overall a decent place, however with the price & awful restrooms I wouldn’t recommend it & we won’t be returning.

Experience here was overall ok. I ordered the chicken platter with mushroom sauce. While I enjoyed the mushroom risotto and fresh vegetables, both pieces of the chicken were dry and the mushroom sauce wasn’t anything to rave about. My mom ordered a burger, and again described it as just OK. Service was also average. Women’s restroom was also very musty smelling. I am always glad to try a new place on the old market but this isn’t one I feel the need to go back to.

I ordered the grilled salmon salad and loved if. It seriously so tasty and grilled to perfect. My husband loved his 8 ounce filet with mashed potatoes. Missing one star because someone sat us outside and then they forgot about us.

This place is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable. Started with the wild mushroom dip. Such a different take on an appetizer. My husband had the pork chop special that will come around every once in a while but I had the salmon with veggies and a mushroom risotto. Perfect. The suggestion for the Manhattan drink was perfect for an after dinner drink.

I’ve normally had rather pleasant experiences here.(Their lobster mac & cheese is to die for!) One night, however, had me fuming mad and ready to never return. I wrote a note to the manager and was surprised to hear back from him the next day. He apologized for the unpleasant experience we had and invited us to come back to give them another chance. (Sorry, sharing details wouldn’t be fair to the establishment because it was an isolated situation and it was remedied immediately.) I have never seen greater attentiveness or desire for customer satisfaction. We’ll be back as soon as we get another free night!

Free order of fries pickles from our hotel, yummmm. They aren’t those tiny pickle slices, they quarter the pickle and fry the whole thing. They’re extra crispy and the dipping sauce is amazing. I ordered the swordfish special which came with some kind of rice pilaf and veggies. The swordfish was actually really good and had a really nice flavor and texture. Really nice service.

The food here was excellent. I had the fried chicken salad and a side of smoked Gouda mac and cheese. The mac was so crazy good! The ambiance was nice and I enjoyed the outdoor patio. The reason why I am only giving 3 stars is the service. It was a very slow Wednesday evening when I was here, but the wait staff kept assuming someone else had taken care of me and it took nearly 15 minutes before I could flag someone down and get a drink order in. They apologized and did say they thought I had been taken care of, but it was frustrating watching others get their orders and food first when they arrived after me. A little better communication would greatly help.

I’ve been to this place twice, and both times we had some issues with our food. The first time, we got their risotto and the rice was crunchy. Other dishes came out cold, and the mac and cheese was bland. The deep fried bacon, which sounded great, was also bland. The second time, I went here for my bachelor party and we ordered steaks, which were terrible cuts of meat, full of gristle and very chewy. Our server was spectacular though and helped us overlook the mediocre food, but the food needs to be executed better.

This place starts out with an awesome location, Old Market Omaha. Good food, good atmosphere, good drinks! Oh, and the best part of this place is Chicken fried bacon.

We really enjoyed happy hour appetizers and a salmon salad. Raspberry freckled lemonade was a little too syrupy. And bruschetta was said to not be traditional, but I thought it tasted great. The salmon salad was great but falsely advertised :-/romaine rather than mixed greens and green apple rather than pear… Hmmm. We added some pico de gallo to it and it went very well w/it.

Stumbled upon this place as the official 1st stop in Omaha and it was by chance. Randomly parked in front of here and my friend said let’s eat here. Sure, why not?! It was rather empty for a Monday at 2pm in mid-December. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We ordered the chili relano and the mac & cheese. The chili relano was just ok, flavorful enough, but felt something was missing. The mac & cheese was a little bland, but that could be the fact I prefer it really creamy. I felt that if the cook left the mac & cheese in the oven for just a few more minutes, that would’ve done the trick. There were some cheese pieces that weren’t fully melted. Prices were fair/average, about $ 10-$ 12 per entrée. Service was excellent. The guy was attentive, but not hovering. I can’t say that I’ll come back again if I’m visiting Omaha.
