That Place is down the road from our house and Werner Park, and we’ve been wanting to try it out for a while. It has that«divey place» look and it didn’t disappoint. So when my wife came here with some co-workers after work, I thought it’d be a great chance to check it out. It wasn’t busy at all on Thursday(Wednesday?) evening and the owner/manager was quick to take our orders. The food isn’t spectacular; basically standard bar fare with wings and burgers. I had the mozzarella sticks, which weren’t cooked enough, and a burger which was okay. So, as a place to hang with friends and BS over beers, I’m all in… looks like there’s either a DJ or karaōke on other nights, which might be interesting. As a must-go dive with great food, smeh… I’ll hope for better next time and keep looking.

MarQ was too kind in his review. Decent place, space wise but man, the food isn’t edible and a very limited drink selection.

This is a very large bar and grill out by Werner Park Baseball Stadium. Not sure if it has always been called this, but the building has been there for many years and used to be a bar & grill in «the sticks». Progress has caught up to it and«that place» is newly remolded it looks like. It’s a nice, clean space with pool, darts and keno(not Omaha keno). The bartender(pretty sure it was the owner) was friendly and made a decent drink. There were a couple regulars that sat at the bar and no one else was in the entire venue on this Monday evening listening to classic rock on the radio overhead. I checked out one of their obviously new menus and looked over the options(lots of pictures on the menu). They had pasta, pizza, prime rib(Fridays), french dip and a few different burgers. I went for a straight forward cheeseburger with fries. It was served to me on a non-plastic plate and that was appreciated. We had to send the burger back as there was no cheese on it. The amount of fries I received were less than a handful. I don’t need a massive plateful of fries, but this was paltry and not even presentable. The fries were loaded with pepper(I think they stated this on the menu) and were OK I guess. The burger came out and after the first bite I knew I was going to be in for a struggle. This was one of the most over-seasoned once frozen meat patties I have ever had. I took another bite and then started dousing it with ketchup to get it down. I quickly paid and headed down the road to find something at a gas station to take this taste out of my mouth. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing here. Maybe there are people that enjoy all that extra seasoning. For me it was so bad that it wasn’t until two weeks later that I wanted another burger. The bar experience here was OK, but the food experience was not.
