I had a tragus piercing done by a different piercer, and after almost a year was having trouble with it still. I went into Skin Deep to get the jewelry changed and discuss how to heal it better. Mike was really knowledgable, non-​judgemental, not at all condescending, and took the time to really talk about how best to heal it as well as jewelry options.
I would go back to him in a heartbeat!

Went in looking to get a decent sized tattoo on my arm. Chris the guy who does the tattoos was clearly not interested in talking to me let alone doing a tattoo. He was so busy playing on his tablet he couldn’t be bothered to look at the pictures I had pulled up to give him an idea of what I wanted. His short rudely put answer was without a drawing I can’t give you any answers. I will spend the hundreds of dollars at a shop that actually wants my money and has people skills. If I could give negative stars I would because 1 star is far more than they deserve.

Mike is AWESOME!!! I got two piercings done there today and I was very impressed with his professional manner and his in depth knowledge. He helped me pick out the best jewelry and best placement for the piercings. He gave great after care instructions and although I can’t say it was painless, I feel great about my experience at Skin Deep and will go there for all of my tatto and piercings from now on! Thanks Mike, your the best!!!

This place is very clean. The staff was very friendly. Mike Coons was very thorough in making sure I got what i wanted and that I knew what to expect both during and after the piercing. That was very important to me since it was my first piercing. The process was very quick and as painless as possible. I would definitely go back for any piercings or tattoo needs I have.
