Romeo’s always has great food and good service. Tonight was different. The food was amazing like always! Always get the chips & cheese dip! Our service… our server was very rude to our table. Half of the people I was with have been or are servers, including myself, so we understand what it’s like to be a server. We empathize that you make $ 2 an hour and that you have to deal with rude people on a daily basis. But you HAVETO have customer service and personable skills when you work in the service industry. When we asked for our ticket to be split before ordering, our server rolled her eyes at us and hesitantly agreed to it. She was also very pushy when asking if we were ready to order. Our whole table had just finished 10 hours at school and just wanted to relax and she just made our experience tense. Jill, you did not impress any of us :(

Romeo’s is one of my son’s favorite restaurants. With that being said, he only eats the pizza and fries. I definitely know what to expect when I go to this place. Great service always and standard Americanized Mexican. They also can always be counted on for fast service. They have great lunch specials. I get the 3 soft shell tacos(which are the best thing on the menu in my opinion) in your choice of meat for $ 6.69. I always get chicken, which is more of chunky chicken in a green chili verde type sauce, with no tomatoes. It is a good deal for the size of the tacos. They have two different types of sauce. The server will usually only bring you the hot one. They do have a more mild one if you ask for it.

What can you say. It’s quick, it’s cheap, and it’s not too bad for quick casual chain Mexican. Chips and cheese are a go to. Gotta get ‘em. My wife and I are foodies, but when you want something quick and cheap, we work in Romeos quite a bit.

When it comes to mexican food its not complicated or difficult to make. This place is basically that. Its nothing special about it. It is quite ordinary, but if thats the sort of thing you like then this is the place for you.

Gross! Horrible food and horrible service! The whole restaurant is filthy. I was so very grossed out and disappointed, I normally give 15% tips but I didn’t give one when I ate here. Save yourself and your money and choose elsewhere.

Nacho typical restaurant! Not the best Mexican or Italian in Omaha, but it is delicious! I love the soft shell tacos and cheese and onion enchilada’s! A good family restaurant. Support local businesses!

I love the menu here. Mexican & pizza? I was in the mood for chips & dip & burritos. So, I pigged out on a 4 dip appetizer &3 burritos. Hold on, I am not a pig. The 3 burritos were made with the smaller tortillas, so no judging. :-) I found a few things on the menu I wanted, so I will have to go back and eat to my heart’s content.

Being from Indiana I am familiar with the idea of «local Mexican», mean Mexican food that is changed a great deal to fit local taste. Romeo’s plays the role of Nebraska Mexican perfectly. My wife is originally from fro Omaha so we often make trip here to visit her father. She always makes sure we make 1 stop here before we head home to Indy. It is a pretty neat little place with some tasty food. I am a fan of their«quesadia» which is a hard taco crust with cheese and meat on top resembling a Mexican pizza from taco bell only prepared from much better ingredients. The rest of the food is typical for a Mexican restaurant although not spicy enough for my pallet. Bottom Line: Very affordable and a great value. If you like Mexican you will enjoy Romeo’s. It is also tamed down enough for those who like a safer dining experience. It might even be a nice introduction to Mexican food for kids or reserved eaters.

Personally, I like Romeo’s food. I think its a good value. Their chips and cheese is a personal favorite thats been a Romeo’s staple since the dawn of time. Good food, and good drinks!
