Great pizza, poor service, lousy calamari. Dined upstairs, several female waiters standing around chatting with each other while one male waiter ran around to all the tables and tended bar. Our waitress disappeared several times for as long as 10 min. Forgot drinks and bill. Pizza is outstanding though. Crust and sauce are perfect and that is the foundation to any pizza whether your eating thin crust, traditional, or deep dish. The calamari is waaaaaayyy over-breaded and was tough and chewy. Yuck! Will be back but will insist on downstairs seating next time and avoid the calamari.

Amazing food and service. The meatball appetizer was excellent and The Doc pizza was some of the best gourmet pizza we’ve had in West O.

Went to Pitch for my birthday the other night. Split the meatballs with my husband as well as the filet. We were pumped about the new creamy gnocchi that came with the filet and it was so so delicious. It was half off wine night so our server Mark helped suggest a couple wines. The one we settled on was out so he brought over another gentleman that helped write the wine menu and we picked out a new and REALLYGOOD bottle instead. We had an amazing dinner and really enjoyed being taken care of by Mark. Our service and food were both the best we have had in quite some time anywhere. We will be back! Thanks Mark for treating us to such a relaxing night !

Amazing Pizza and Salads! The Arugula salad is my favorite. They have a great selection of options. High quality ingrediants. One of my favorite spots.

The atmosphere, service and food quality are great. It’s a bit pricy. Two people cost about $ 32 without drinks for lunch. I got the Arugula salad and didn’t like it. I only took a few bites and then boxed it up. It doesn’t last as a leftover even if eaten later that day because I tried to re-gift it and it looked pretty sad. However, the jambalaya soup was quite tasty after I picked off the croutons on top. The croutons have a strange taste and texture. The jambalaya has tender seafood, Sausage and alligator meat with rice in a brown creamy soup. Unusual tastes for a Midwestern girl but satisfying and delicious. If I go back, I’d try one of the drinks that our neighbors ordered. It looked like a Bloody Mary with an asparagus and big slice of cooked bacon sticking out the top.

I finally got the chance to try the PITCHWEST location, after it has been open a good 6 months probably. Since we live a lot closer to PITCH Dundee, we usually end up there instead. However, the Holiday season bought us to Village Pointe for some shopping and I knew I just HAD to try it since Pitch Dundee is one of my favorites. The outside of this new Pitch is so impressive to me. I love the design and the presence of it. What I DISLIKE is the larger corporate glass buildings being built so close in proximity and shrouding it’s beauty :(. Unlike the Dundee location, which has no real room to grow, this location has both outside patio seating and rooftop seating. Not great for the winter but AWESOME for the other 3 seasons. SO cute! Menu wise– they seem identical. I poured over the menu looking for something I may not have tried yet(no luck I have literally tried everything!!) and the inside of the restaurant looks a lot like the Dundee dining area as well. I stuck with my trusty favorites-2 peps pizza and their chopped salad. Between this and the truffle fries/spaghetti and meatballs, a for sure winner in my book. Service was impressive on my visit as well. Polite waiter, glasses filled, food timely, and checked on us just enough that was not overwhelming. A+, for real. **One mind blowing note for anyone not familiar with driving around that area– If you’re on dodge express headed west google maps will tell you to get off at 180th street to go to Pitch, but if you are already at Village point, PITCH is literally only a few blocks from the Theatre end of the shopping center on Burt street. Exit 168 and 180th seem so far apart but they are not. PITCH west is almost basically part of the Village point shopping center!

I’ve been to the Dundee location many times, this one is a very good replica. We sat at the bar with the intention of just having a couple of drinks and and an appetizer. In the end we ordered a pizza as well. The truffle fries and the pizza were just the same as the original location. Perfect! The service was excellent. We showed up at the tail end of happy hour on a Tuesday and the place was quite busy. Still the bartenders kept it moving and I never felt neglected or like I had to wait long before someone checked to see if we needed anything else. I would visit here again without hesitation.

First time I’ve ever eaten here — and I was very impressed with the food! I went with a larger group and we decided just to order a bunch of things a split them — and everything we ate was deeeeeelish! Appetizers that we ordered: Meatballs — I think there were four pretty good sized meatballs in some marinara sauce with some really good crusty bread. Super flavorful — I would definitely order these again! Brussell Sprouts — these had really good flavor — with some cheese and maybe some balsamic on them? I don’t think I’d order them again, just because they are brussell sprouts LOL! Just not my favorite… but it was a good healthy item with all of the cheese I was about to consume! Truffle Fries — these were so good –why are truffle fries SOGOOD? I really like the size of them, they are like little shoe strings — but just PERFECT! Definitely would order again! We had a bottle of the Pitch Red Blend wine — very good! For our mains – We ordered the Lobster Mac N Cheese — whoa baby… that was amazing! It was very rich so I don’t think that I’d like it for a full meal, but it was so fabulous to have a little scoop and share it with friends. Nice chunks of lobster in it. YUMMMO! Then we ordered the«Shroom» Pizza — it has a white sauce, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and basil(I think) — it was really, really, really good!!! It had some really great flavors going on — garlic, basil, just fabulous! We also had another pizza… not sure what it was called — it had carmelized onions, goat cheese and some other stuff… topped with Arugula lettuce and a pear slice? So this pizza was a little too out there for me – but it was very good, it had great flavors and it all worked — but my brain couldn’t get over the fact that we were eating a sliced pear on a piece of pizza ;) — but it was great! The atmosphere was good! Our waiter asked us if we wanted dessert; we didn’t say no, but didn’t say yes and that was about it… We did a gift exchange and our wine glasses were empty, we were just chatting — I think if the waiter had asked if we wanted more wine while we visited I could have been convinced to order another bottle to share — So this is my only reason for giving 4-stars and not 5-stars. Normally I don’t want to be upsold, but this was a time where it would have worked :) Their food was amazing — every single thing we ate! I would 100% recommend this to anyone in the area —(it’s a good 30 minute drive for me…) and I will make the effort to go back and try it again!

Good place for a Sunday lunch. Plenty of TVs to watch during your meal and a good selection of items to order especially the cocktails. I have always gotten pizza. A little more expensive than typical pizza but the ingredients are quality so it’s worth the splurge from time to time…

Favorite new date night hot spot, Low lighting, open concept dining, the ambiance is really nice, we both were pleased right in the door. server was very pleasant and attentive, I had a couple glasses of pinot noir which really hit the spot. We ordered the Meatball Pizza which had THEBESTMEATBALLSANDSAUCE I have ever had, even in any five star italian restaurant I couldn’t even compare… We will be back to try more. The pasta looked amazing and the wings surprisingly enough looked enticing enough to come back for more… oh and not to forget the tiramisu, I’ll just say it was a great finish.

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday in October. We didn’t have reservations, but they were still able to seat us within 10 minutes. During that 10 minutes we sat at the bar and I enjoyed a craft beer. I believe there is also a bar or something on the second floor, but I never ventured up there. All of the staff working were very friendly. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered their Dos Peps Pizza which comes with San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, and Fresh Jalapeño. It was very tasty and I loved the coal-fired thin crust style to he pizza. Very enjoyable. Pricey, but that was to be expected as this is a trendy upscale pizzeria. A pizza is going to cost you close to $ 20 and really only feeds two people(they’ll tell you three or four). Overall, I enjoyed the food and the dining experience. A tad bit loud and crowded for me, but I could see myself being a regular during their off-peak hours.

First time we’ve ever been and were from KC. The seating was either 40 minutes or outside in the 60 degree weather with two toddlers. Naturally, we picked outside because they can be a little chilly, but they’ll lose their minds over 40 minutes of nothing, lol. The servers were all sorts of out of whack. Something to do with the cold and seating. We got our appetizers quick though the plastic cups for the kids were twice the size of the glasses we got… Lol. Bruschetta and meatballs were quick to serve and fantastic. Major thanks to LUSH for promoting Pitch, by the way… The pizza wasn’t too bad, but overshadowed by how good the appetizers were. We asked for plates twice before deciding to eat off of the appetizer plates and finally got them when we were finished… Meh. Lastly, they brought out some Tira Misu for the birthday girl unexpectedly! She turned 3 and picked pizza. So this was a win. :D

Last night my family and I had an incredible dinner at Pitch filled with wonderful wine, outstanding food and even better service. Although we went without reservations and a large group, we all thought each other called ahead, we were wonderfully taken care of and drank until the table was ready. All of the food was delicious but my brothers Ink Lobster Pasta was a standout. While on the pricier side, the in residents and quality of the dish made it more than worth it. The manager of the night was especially gracious, making sure our table was happy and full. Our server too was sweet and knowledgable. She handled 10 drinking adults like a pro. I’ve always been a big fan of Pitch Dundee but I think my loyalty may lie out west now.

I love pitch. Definitely one of my favorite places in Omaha and a place I like to bring out-of-town guests as well. I have always been satisfied at the Dundee location and was equally happy with the new location out west. The service was very friendly and we very much enjoyed the marsala pizza we ordered today. The ingredients were fresh and blended together well. We added prosciutto to ours at the recommendation of our server and loved it. I know I will be back!

Good food and wine and a casual atmosphere. The only drawback would be the noise level. Outside of that, all is good. Sit out in the patio and enjoy!

Great pizza. Great Staff. Busy? Yup. That’s what happens when the food is good. Had the Mia Pizza — fantastic and I’m a pizza snob. Food was prepped with a great presentation. Had a local beer(Vanilla Bean Blonde) that I’m sure I couldn’t get back home. Man, was this part of the experience. All I can say is that this is exactly what it should be: great food, great service across the board.

Came here this afternoon looking for a little happy hour snack with a glass of wine with mom. The bartender was pointing to the happy hour menu drinks, pointing out what’s on special at $ 5 and said«as well as house wine and sangria.» My mother then said she’d like a glass of house Cabernet and I said I’d do the same. We then ordered the brussel sprouts and a pizza, which was supposed to be $ 5 off at happy hour. When we went to order our second glass of house wine he then informed us it’s cheaper to buy the bottle. Which was $ 78 and half off was $ 39…, Huh??? We were looking at a happy hour menu?!? He pointed to happy hour drinks… He said house wine was $ 5 but somehow we each ended up with a $ 15 glass of wine and now, no choice but to buy the bottle… We have no problem buying a nice bottle of wine for dinner but this was 4pm, we were there for happy hour and his slight of hand trickery got us a bottle of wine, pizza and brussels sprouts for $ 86!!! No one would ever do this for happy hour. Really?!? Our Brussels sprouts were incredible, pizza was good, wine was excellent, service was arrogant and we left feeling like idiots who were scammed! I have gotten a few pizzas that are just as good if not better from Maddio’s for $ 8…We suggest you get clarification when ordering. Didn’t notice until we got home and looked at our receipt that we didn’t receive $ 5 off our happy hour pizza either.

Pitch was hopping on our recent visit, Sunday evening. If you didn’t know, it’s half price bottle of wine night– which means you can get a few different bottles of their PITCH house wine for as little as $ 15.00. It doesn’t get much more reasonable than that, AND if you can’t finish it– they’ll package it to take home. Without reservations, we waited for about 15 minutes before being seating. The atmosphere here alone is outstanding! A gorgeous building, with creative upcycled ideas and tip top décor throughout. From the fun oversized lamp shades, to the candles made out of liquor bottles– this place is a class act. Our service was outstanding from the hostess to our wait staff– hard to find on a Sunday night when the industry can be full of newbies or folks bitter about working. Not at PITCH, smiles and amazing service all around! Dinner is pretty pricey, with pasta entrees around $ 20 and higher– Pizza is definitely the most reasonable way to go with pies ranging from $ 15-$ 22-ish, and shareable for 2 – 3 people depending on hunger. My husband had the VIP Smoked Mac and Cheese with Lobster, and this was truly the night’s stand out. Huge chunks of Lobster claw meat adorned a mini cast-iron skillet that kept the dish piping hot the entire time he was eating it. The mushroom burger was decent, as was the Basil Chicken Pesto Pie. Next time I go back, I’ll probably try for lunch. The portions are huge either way, and the price points considerably lower. I can only imagine the cost of the building though, and their need to set the prices accordingly. We’ll be back– next time to try their Monte Cristo sandwich and sit on the beautiful patio! Thanks PITCH! Oh, and it was my Mom’s Bday and they brought her a complimentary piece of(what tasted like) homemade Tiramisu with a candle!

I had been dying to try the new Pitch location so my husband and I decided to go here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Considering how popular the Dundee location is, I was a little surprised by the reviews it already had. We didn’t experience any issues on our visit, but we did go during a fairly«low traffic» time. The building, itself, is very nice(and very large). We only saw the downstairs dining area and patio, but it was very spacious. They have a couple large«communal dining» tables, several smaller tables that seat 2 – 4 people scattered throughout the restaurant and on the patio, and also have a decent amount of bar seating. Our server was training another server while we were there, but the service was overall pretty good. We decided to split their Herbed Coal Fired Wings and the Meatball Sandwich with Truffle Fries(on their brunch menu). Our server asked if we would like to have the chef split the sandwich for a $ 4 fee, to which I responded that for $ 4 we could probably cut our own sandwich. This was probably my biggest annoyance of the visit — I realize«split plate» fees are standard at many restaurants, but this seemed excessive since we were ordering a sandwich and wings over a lunch when the restaurant was half empty, not a steak or some other pricey entrée during the dinner rush. The wait for the food was a little longer than normal, but wasn’t anything crazy(about 20 minutes on the wings and another 10 – 15 minutes on the sandwich). I attributed this to it being a newer restaurant that is still working out the kinks. I have had the wings and various dishes with meatballs at the Dundee location, and thought the food quality was on par with the other location. The portions were generous and everything was hot and delicious. My other complaint about the visit was that the music was way too loud. It would have been great for a bar scene on a Friday night, but was a little much for a Sunday lunch crowd. This location is much more convenient for us, so we will definitely be returning to check out their upstairs patio and to eat here again.

Here for brunch, and I asked for hot sauce. They charged me 50 cents for Sriracha! Also, the food came out at different times, and half of our table was done eating by the time the other half’s food came out. On the bright side, the bloody marys are really good!
