Very poor customer service. After finding that one of their fiberglass doors was separating I was pleased to discover it would be replaced under warranty and even stained and ready to install. Within two weeks I was called and told the door was in and picked it up straight away. Upon opening the box the first thing I noticed was that it appeared to be painted orange rather than stained a light oak color. That wasn’t all, the lockset and hinge locations didn’t not come close to matching the existing door they had on file. No problem, they said they’d get another coming with no stain and locksets in the correct locations. 4 weeks later and I hadn’t heard anything so I call to see where it is to be transferred to a store in Minnesota instead of Omaha, after nearly 30 minutes of giving mine and the customers address’s I was eventually told to call another number to then find out the file was closed, the door was there, but no body ever called or would call since the file was closed. I’ve been replacing their junk sashes for over a decade and would never recommend a Pella product to anyone.

We purchased two doors from Pella in August 2014. Both doors cost over $ 7,000. We have had nothing but trouble with the basement door Pella replaced. The installers did a horrible job. We have had Pella to our house over five times to fix the problems and still ISNOTFIXED. It is now November and still the problem has not been fixed and now we have freezing cold air blowing through a ONEINCHGAP at the bottom of our door. SNOWGETSINTHEHOUSE through this gap. I will never in my life purchase another Pella product again! I picked Pella over Anderson Windows. Bad choice on our part. Never will I choose Pella. I am disgusted, frustrated and down right angry at the lack of customer service their installation department gives to its customers. Word of warning to everyone in the Omaha area: DONOTPURCHASEANYTHINGFROMPELLA!!!

If I could give them a negitive star rating I would. They have the worst customer service ever. They do not return phones. Their warranties are worthless! My house is eight years old I had a window that was rotting out and was told that it was out of warranty because the window was manufactured more than 10 yrs. When does a warranty start when something is manufactured? The local office would not reurn phone calls and offer a 40% discount on their already over priced window over $ 2,000. I recieved a quote from another company with a warranty that starts at time of sale. for ¼ of the price. I would never use Pella windows ever again.
