It was our first time to Orsi’s but certainly not our last! Met the owner he was awesome. We came for the pizza that was better than advertised and left with the twist bread, house made sausage and peppers and a variety of other Italian delights. It’s nice to know that in our age of mass produce and chain stores that there are people that still take great pride in making house made. Thanks Orsi’s !

This is the best place for pizza in Omaha, period. My wife and I love going here and also end up getting a Half Sheet to have left overs. Definitely try it out.

We were passing through Omaha on our way back to MN from Vegas and looked up the best pizza in Omaha.
It was our first time and won’t be our last. The pizza was delicious but what was even more impressive was the customer service. If I could have gave 10 stars I would.

Carry out only, but it’s the best pizza and garlic bread I’ve ever eaten. Go ahead and call in your order. The pizza was great! First time customers can get free garlic bread.

I really enjoyed trying this place! My friend and I ordered a medium pizza which is 6 slices and I think only $ 12. We also ordered garlic bread. This place is also a bakery and they had all sorts of things you could buy like noodles, bread, sauces, and desserts and other baking goods. They do not offer tables to sit at and eat you’re food so you must get your pizza to go. It took about 10 min for our pizza to be ready to go. We also ordered garlic bread which the man at the counter said he would give that to us free of charge because it was our first time trying this place. So that was awesome! The entire staff was very friendly and so were all the costumers too! Once we got home we dug in! The pizza was DELICIOUS! Comparable to other very good pizza places around Omaha. I was full after a piece and a half of pizza so it’s very filling there would have been enough for 3 or 4 people to share the medium. The garlic bread however was not as good as I expected. It was still good but I was just expecting something much better after how good the pizza was. I would recommend you try it for your self because I thought it was GREAT! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we were disappointed it was take out only and the garlic bread was not what I was expecting.

Pizza, bread, garlic toast, and sauce have a great homemade taste with no preservatives. A lot has already been said in the other reviews and they are absolutely true. The owner and the other employees that we talked to were both extremely friendly and took the time to explain everything on our first visit.
If you order pizza it might seem expensive at first but it includes absolutely wonderful cheesy garlic toast made on thin slices of their famous bread. The pizza and toast can easily feed 3 adults. I don’t know if the 6 cheese garlic breads were given to us as a sample for our first visit or is always the case. As we were waiting, the kids were given suckers and a whole bag full of Romano cheese to try and take home. Can’t beat that kind of hospitality.
No place to sit and eat but they will gladly setup a table for you. Most regular folks call ahead and pick up the food order. Great option to pick up and go if you are in the old market, heading to the riverfront, zoo, or the museums.
Will be certainly be frequenting this place.

The most welcoming people I have had the pleasure of meeting here in Omaha, even though they were busy they set up a table for us! We ordered a pizza, picked out some hard salami, some bread and had our Parmesan cheese freshly grated to take home with us. We ate our Pizza right out of the oven as well as the cheese bread that came with it Orsi’s is basically located in the neighborhood behind the train station/​Durham museum. There was parking right up front. What a wonderful find! The pizza and cheese bread were delicious!!! Definitely worth the trip from West Omaha! I wanted to buy everything in the store! We will be back for some more old school Italian food! and I am Irish!!!

5 stars! Great pizza, fresh ingredients, and great customer service. I was taking an Amtrak home over the Thanksgiving holiday, and arrived to the station a few hours early, and the waiting area was closed. Long story short I found Orsi’s down the road, and even though they were closing early that night, the owner Jim made me a pizza and let me wait in the bakery until the Amtrak station opened. The pizza was great, really good sauce, and fresh ingredients! Thanks again Jim for hospitality, and the great food!

Great pizza. Think and chewy dough. Definitely homemade. One of my new favorite pizza places in Omaha. The cheesy garlic bread was fantastic as well.

Hot, fresh, and delicious! Pizza was exactly what I was looking for, needed and MORE. I’m from out of town so when I saw this quaint Italian restaurant in the old brick building and the deliciously thick, meaty, cheesy looking pics, I decided to give it a try.
The owner took my order and threw in some tasty garlic cheesy bread for my 1 yr old daughter. Apparently he knew that my 1 yr old loves cheesy bread. Judging by her reaction and mine this food was delicious and hit the spot hard.
Great food, excellent service, everything fresh baked! Highly recommend it. When I’m back in town I’m bringing my friends and getting the gigantic full sheet pizza.

Just went to the place out of curiosity. Grabbed a loaf of bread and 2 cannolis. The chocolate cannoli was just ok, the vannilla was good. However the bread was awesome. Some of the best bread I’ve ever had. Definitely going to checkout the pizza soon.

One of my earliest recollections of my childhood is coming down here to get a fresh loaf of bread for Sunday dinner.
The bread is made with no preservatives. It’s the best bread in Omaha hands down, sorry Rotellas!
Orsi’s has a wide variety of meats and cheeses such hard salami, genoa salami and mortadella; my favorite, and many others. Ricotta cheese cookies!
Oh, by the way they have the best pizza in town!

Yummy pizza! I’m typically not a fan of thick crust, but this was delicious. We ordered the ordered the combination. The pizza is big. Flavor was good and not overly greasy. Highly recommended from an out of towner. Some have said drawback is take out only, but I saw it as a benefit.

This might be one of the best hidden gems in Omaha. The bread, pizza, olive salad, cold cuts… all amazing. I was impressed and happy to run into this place and always spread the word about this business. Absolutely happy this place exists. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

If the pizza wasn’t that good (which IT IS) the customer service alone would make me come back to Orsi’s again and again. The owner, Jim, went out of his way to serve us so well that he even put the pizza on our plates with his own hands. A TRUE SERVANT. Would love to come back next time I’m in Omaha.

I have enjoyed Orsi’s pizza for years and have even referred business to them. No more. My husband called to put an order in at 7:40, the person answering the phone gave him a hard time for calling close to closing time (eight), but took the order anyway — a quarter sheet — half veggie, half sausage and mushroom (I don’t eat meat). My husband came home with a pizza covered in sausage and pepperoni, so I am left with nothing to eat being that it is after eight, we can’t get a replacement. Waste of money. Very displeased.

Just had some of the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! Perfect crust and lots of cheese. I’m from out of town and this was a fantastic local find.
Be warned it is not a sit in restaurant. It’s a bakery. So it’s perfect for a take out pizza! They also had some yummy cookies as well. Highly recommend this place!!!

Thanks for the great pizza, Orsi’s. Thanks for putting up with our group that showed up 30 minutes until closing and ordered the largest pizza (24 slices, worth it). Thanks for letting us camp out on the benches in front with a folding table, and bringing us free french bread, cannolis, and italian bread. You made us feel like family. Your place has been here since 1919, and you’ve just scored more loyal customers. We hope you’ll be around for many more years to come.

Wowser! I kept hearing about Orsi’s, but this far exceeded my expectations!
I stopped in 10 minutes before closing on Friday night… To pick up an order that we placed over the phone. Our order was perfect, and the employees working were v friendly.
The gentleman working even gave us a free baguette and ricotta cookies (which were the kind of cookies that dreams are made of).
Wow! Talk about going above and beyond for your customer. Without a doubt I’ll be back. :)

Two things: great pizza and great service. Yes, it’s take-​out only, but you’re getting great pizza and great service.
I was leading a lunch meeting today and mis-​timed my planning. I called and asked how long for a sheet, and when I explained my dilemma they offered to expedite it.
I stayed basic with a half combo/​half pepperoni, they finished it on time for me and I was on my way. And of course they made a great pizza.
Oddly enough, two people at the meeting said afterwards the meeting was great. Since it was a typical committee meeting, I can only assume it was because of the pizza.

Pizza. Good. Sauce. good. bread. great. There is oned amazing thing about Orsi’s and that is service. I recall my first time. I said I had never had it and I was given samples of nearly the entire menu. All the items rock. If you wish for more pizza than you could eat. get a large. Otherwise a medium is just enough to feed a bunch of folks. We order a few times per month and my guests love bringing some home.

Best pizza in Omaha. Miss frequenting Orsi’s for pizza and other Italian provisions. Hope this place never goes away, every Omahan should come here.

At least two or three weekends out of every month I am on the road. Each of those weekends I make it a point to find a small pizzeria in whichever city I am staying.
Hands-​down, this pizza was easily in the top three that I have ever had. The sauce was just the right amount of sweet, the cheese was flavorful, and the crust was out of this world. very highly recommend this pizza!

Orsi’s has the best pizza in Omaha! Every time I have a party I order from them. The crust is not too thin not too think, and the ingredients taste great. The large slab will set you back $ 35ish but it will feed a small army. The half meat, half veggie is always a crowd pleaser:)

We had a half-​sheet at a customer site this week. I love their crust! It’s similar to The butter crust Godfather’s used to have. The square pieces were also nice — a little less messy. Toppings were generous; we had pepperoni all over with half hamburger and half sausage. TONS of pepperoni. I’m a fan of their sauce as well. Super yummy!
