Great place with a ton of memories. Went there for the auction and had a great time. The Auction Mill staff(company putting on the auction) was great and took you around to the entire place. Awesome behind the scenes tour with an auction thrown in. Bought a few signs and had a great time. Hate to see it go but I know time marches on.

Nothing spectacular but it serves its purpose of a smaller venue than the Century Link. It is kept up pretty well esp for its age. They didnt accept credit card for snacks… that needs to be changed as many of us do not carry cash. Not sure what generation the folks running this place are from but in these times… plastic is a must!

I’m going to miss this place a little bit once it’s sold/torn down/turned into a high-rise(hopefully). Many of us who grew up in Omaha have fond memories of this place. For example, it’s where my high school AND college graduations were both held. I also remember going to the circus here as a kid and seeing a very old Bob Dylan here as a teenager. Hell, I even had a press pass to cover then presidential candidate Obama’s stop in Omaha back 2008. With the CenturyLink Center and Mid-America Center both nearby, not to mention Creighton’s DJ Sokol Arena, the Ralston Arena, UNO’s soon-to-be-built new arena and even the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, it might be time to say goodbye to the Civic. Yeah, you served us well. Thanks for the good times. Now on to the future.

I went here for a Lancers hockey game. I thought it was nice being in a little bit of a smaller arena, it brings the fans closer together and makes it more fun. Parking is easy and close. Tickets are a good price but the food(like everywhere else) was WAY overpriced especially for the quality. It was fairly clean but remember… its an auditorium so… I had a great time though and will definitely be back for another hockey game.

This is the older of the two arenas in Omaha. It has easy parking and hosts the Omaha Aksarben Knights hockey team. I’d go a lot more, but they have some stupid policy of not giving you lids and straws on your sodas, and with kids open cups are an invitation to disaster.
