All right, I feel bonkers but I just can’t get behind Noli’s anymore. From the dozen or so times I’ve had it, I keep wanting to like it so, so badly. The pie is just too inconsistently charred for me to love it. I write from a place of pizza adoration, from Chicago-style to frozen and everything in between. There’s just something about the burned bottom and bubbles I get often that messes with the flavor to me. A pie I had tonight was the nail in the pizza coffin: I peeked under the cheese after a few dry slices and sadly realized the sauce was nonexistent. As someone who is trying to eat healthy and only treats herself once every few months, it’s disappointing to get a pie with its cheese matted so much that it’s like a triangular breadstick. I would love to hear what Scott of Scott’s New York pizza tours would say about the oven temp, because I’ve been on a few of his tours and he could pinpoint the issue immediately. To me there is no such thing as bad pizza, just good pizza and better pizza. These pies are good. Noli’s is tasty and I love its flavors, especially goat cheese and sausage, but it wouldn’t be my go-to in a big city, and sadly, here either.

Great Pizza. My only problem is we order the same thing every time but it’s always a different price. Depending on who takes our call they charge differently then offer no explanation when asked about the different pricing:

I found my new favorite pizza place in Omaha! Pizza is so good, it’s Neapolitan style. Shop is very trendy and good atmosphere. Staff are so friendly too. They have lunch special for $ 7, 2 slices & drink or slice, salad, drink. Great deal. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Great pizza in the Blackstone District! Available as full sized pies and by the slice, you can make it as basic(pepperoni and cheese) or as fancy-schmancy(goat cheese, Kalamata olive, portabella mushroom, meatball) as you want. This place is always busy. When it’s REALLY busy, you will have to bring a bit of patience. This time, it took about 30 minutes for our group to get five slices of pizza and an order of garlic knots. Don’t let this deter you from the place. If you’re not in a rush, order a beverage and find a place to sit. The brick oven baked pizza with its awesome crunchiness is well worth the wait.

Visited on a busy Friday night with a fairly simple order: one pie and a salad. Soon after ordering it became clear that the staff was a little in the weeds. The oven seemed to be temping hot, pizzas were getting burned and/or thrown away and the orders were stacking up. I totally sympathized(been there myself) and sat patiently with my girlfriend as the clock ticked away…30, 40, 50 minutes went by. But no one came to check on us or give us an update on the situation. Our pizza finally came out after over an hour of waiting at which point we had to request a salad that was ordered but forgotten about. At no point did anyone apologize for the very long wait. The pizza itself was fine, with nice toppings and a very tasty sauce, but it was both burned and somehow also undercooked. Outer crust totally scorched but under crust a little soft and too floppy. I had high hopes after recommendations and positive reviews online, but left feeling a little upset and underwhelmed by the quality of both the food and service. Id be willing to give this place another shot, but maybe on a day when they’re not super busy.

This place is very good. Come in on a Friday at 5. We arrived at a good time, since by the time we departed, there were no tables left. We got a pie with sausage. All ingredients tasted fresh and the sausage was delicious with no gristle or nastiness of any sort. The prices are fair for what you get and the restaurant is clean and simple. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Check it out.

Nolis pizza is hands down the best pizza in Omaha! The help is great, the place is sparkling clean and smells amazing! They give you flavored olive oil to dip the crust in or pour on your pizza which is even better !!! Seriously, I’m from Chicago and it’s the best if you’re not used to Pizza that isn’t authentic and amazing don’t waste your Calories anywhere else! Yummmmmmmm.

Best pizza in Nebraska hands down! New York style think crust that manages to be crisp and perfectly chewy. I’ve only had a slice of pepperoni pizza the few times I have been there. It is pizza perfection. sauce is bursting with tomato flavor, pepperoni perfectly spicy. Small selection of interesting beer. Thank you, Noli’s, I love.

Welcome to the area, Noli’s! Glad you’re here. Your food was decent to good and I appreciate you do pizza by the slice, but my order was wrong twice on the same occasion. I ordered a slice with goat cheese, kalamata olives, and carmelized onions. First time they forgot goat cheese, second time they forgot onions. After the second time I just let it go because I was starving and over it. But I paid for three sides(.50 a piece) and only got two. And it’s not that busy so I’m not sure what happened. Idk — kind of annoying. But I’m still glad you’re here! **just wanted everyone to know that someone from noli’s reached out to ask me about the experience which I think is awesome** I will definitely be back. This is a good place for the area.

The pizza was excellent. Nuf said. It was true original … as good as… NYC pizza. The place is nice. Not too big and not too small. You order at the counter and have a seat or carry out. Most of the staff was very friendly(except the lady who took my order.) I can’t wait to come back and try more.

This might just be the best pizza in Omaha. Exceptionally fresh ingredients, a comfy atmosphere and, well, the food is just plain delicious. On my recent visit I had the lunch combo — a slice of tomato, spinach, garlic and basil plus a salad topped with Italian dressing. The salad was pretty much a perfect blend of mixed greens, cucumbers, croutons and dressing. The slice was made to order and served piping hot. If you’ve gotten this far into this review, I’d say it’s a given that I rather enjoyed eating my pizza. Go here and eat pizza, folks!

Excellent pizza in Blackstone district! I am originally from the east coast and am used to the New York style slice. This may be the closest to authentic Italian pizza I’ve found in Omaha. The crust is the best part! Noli’s offered dipping oils from Chef2(basil, chipotle, and habanero) which is a great addition. Great lunch deal available for a slice, salad, and a drink. Prices overall are really good. I also enjoy how you can get a slice customized however you like. Not a ton of seating, and I think they may outgrown this location as more and more people discover how delicious Noli’s is. Try out this place, it is certainly one of the best pizza places in Omaha!

This place has been on my list to check out for way too long and after dining there, I loved it. We ordered the dimanzo and everything about it was perfection. The filet, Gorgonzola, balsamic glaze and basil all went together phenomenally. All four of us really enjoyed that pizza. The crust was also wonderful and I appreciate whatever process that used to make it New York style. I also ordered a salad and thought it was cute that it was served in a Chinese takeout box. The seating is very limited. There are two tables, three booths and a few single options along the bar. One thing that I will change when I go back again is I will probably not tip. whenever you check out, it gives you the option to tip, which I did, but I have no idea what I was tipping for. You get your own water/drinks, you get your own pizza, bring it to the table and no one checks on you, so basically everything you do yourself with the exception of maybe clean your table at the end of the meal. Overall though, great addition to the Blackstone district that I’m sure will do well.

I ate two DELICIOUS slices of freshly made sausage pizza while watching the owner/chef sauté a big ol’ frying pan full of portabella mushrooms. Two HUGE slices of pizza and can of soda for $ 7.95? And they ring you up on these cool swivel stand iPads? I love this place. The dough is delicious. Crack the pizza at the center of the crust, fold her up and chow down. Ice cold soda. Friendly service. You watch your slices cook in the oven. Man, I’m hungry just thinking about it. Incredible value. Delicious, homemade flavor. Great selection of fresh toppings. These guys and gals are good. Eat this food.

So close to being a 5 star review. Easily one of the best pizza places in town. They have the recipes and ingredients down, unfortunately both my slices fell victim to floppy crust syndrome. The outer crust was very thick and chewy, even came with flavored dipping oils, but the middle was thin and flimsy and could not support the toppings. Perhaps this is an execution issue, or something that happens with individual slices only. I tried a basil mushroom and sausage slice. The basil was fresh and the sausage was spicy and generously topped. Will definitely come back and try a whole pie. The prices are good and it is a great addition to the Blackstone district.

I love the new Blackstone District! Wow… how did all of these businesses pop up so quickly!?! Decided to try out the new pizza place… Noli’s. It’s a smaller place… not many tables but we were able to score a couple of seats at the bar. I really liked the mix of people there including both the workers and customers. The hard part was having to stand in line and order from the gal at the cash register. That meant one of us had to stay seated to save our seats while the other ordered. My friend and I each ordered a slice of pizza, and I also ordered a side salad with poppyseed dressing. The salad was delicious and came in a cute little«to-go» box. Fresh lettuce with some fresh veggies tossed in, all coated in a great poppyseed salad dressing. The very nice lady sitting next to me at the bar graciously offered for me to try her sausage pizza. I was actually going to order the sausage but after trying hers I thought it was a bit too salty for me. Delicious, but for whatever reason the salt wasn’t agreeing with me so I opted for a slice of Margherita pizza. I was told they were not able to use fresh mozzarella on the slices of Margherita but went with it anyway. I expected there to be sliced roma tomatoes on it, but there was not. After re-reading the menu it did not say romas came on it, so my mistake. The pizza was still good with the fresh basil, but really just tasted like a slice of cheese pizza with basil. Still good and I really did like the crust. My dining partner had a slice of pepperoni. She thought it was good but wasn’t sure if she’d go back again. The Italian wine I had with my pizza was very good and I liked that it came in a glass that is different from the standard wine glass. I would likely give this place another try, but not before I check out some of the other eats in the new Blackstone District.

Just tried this for lunch today with a co-worker for the first time and it definately won’t be the last! We didn’t have a lot of time but we arrived closer to 11:30 before the noon lunch rush and ordered our slices. I got pepperoni, red onion, and mushroom for toppings. As promised, our order arrived in about 5 minutes on a paper plate and was piping hot from the oven. The crust was super thin and tasty for those that like that style. The sauce was sweetly flavorful and the toppings were just about the right amount. There wasn’t a lot of seating so probably not a great place for large groups and I’d be worried about finding a place during peak times. I also got the side salad with Italian dressing and it was served in a cute little Chinese takeout box with a fork in it. It was a good salad with mixed greens, cucumber, grated carrot and croutons but nothing special. Next time(and there will be a next time!) I’ll just grab a second slice or add more toppings. It’s nice to see this area grow and change.

3.5 stars! I visited Noli’s at 12 Noon on a Tuesday, the week after they provided the food for a Unilocal event at Kleveland Clothing(also in the Blackstone District). The star of their pizza for me is the crust. I’m not a huge NY style pizza fan(I prefer thick and heavy pizza like Omaha’s Mama’s or Chicago Deep Dish style) but I still like this pizza crust! I love the décor of the place, and the person at the register was informative and attentive. Wait time for two slices was about 10 minutes. My only criticism is the price is a little steep– over $ 9 for two slices(the $ 3 slices are with NO toppings) is more than I’m accustomed(or willing) to pay. For example, Zio’s at lunch gives you two slices with 2 toppings and a soda, all for under $ 8. Valentinos at lunch serves two slices with a range of toppings plus a soda for under $ 6. I’d try this place again though– buying a whole pizza(about $ 15-$ 20 per pie) or the specialty pizzas which look good on the menu, and asking for extra cheese!

Far and away the best pizza I have had in Omaha! Especially if you have Celiac disease or are avoiding gluten for other reasons. You know how other places have gluten-free crusts that are really… chewy? Almost non-pizza-ish? The gluten-free pizza here tastes like REALPIZZA. From the char, to the foldability, to the crunch… it was a top-notch pizza. I got mine with sausage and pepperoni, and you can really tell the quality of the ingredients. It’s not some dumpy marinara sauce on some tapioca-starch«crust»… it’s whole crushed tomatoes, and not too many(which is a pleasant change of pace), with a perfect layer of cheese. Unbelievable. I’ve been a Mama’s devotee since I got here(go Red Sox!)… but Noli’s is in my hood and, frankly, even more delicious. To the people complaining already about service and seating and running out of dough: chill the eff out. They’ve been open for, like, 4 days. There are bound to be kinks as people are getting to know the systems and the cook times and the recipes. You’re lucky the kinks they’re working out aren’t in the actual food!
