Such friendly staff, they sent sandwiches to the hotel across the street where I was staying & gave samples. Very good ones at that so we did make a point to eat there. Loved the smile on the ladies face.

I generally really like Jimmy John’s establishments. This particular one was not quite up to the same standard as others I have gone to. The positives: Conveniently located close to Henry Doorly Zoo Friendly Staff Negatives: Incorrect Sandwich Order Dry Bread Loud Music Dirty tables and Floors with food debris around the restaurant(the dirtiest Jimmy Johns I have ever been in) Irritating Backdoor that employees go in and out of constantly that sounds like a cannon going off each time it slams. So, while I enjoy Jimmy John’s overall, I will not go out of my way to eat at this one again.

I’m not sure why Unilocal won’t allow this review to post. Previously I posted: This place is incredibly awful when it comes to customer support. My wife waits for 10 minutes to use the bathroom. When I asked an employee to check to see if the person was alive in there, he said the bathroom was out of order. Incredulous, I asked if they might consider putting an «out of order» sign up. «No» he says, «the manager won’t let me, it wouldn’t look professional.» But I guess making people wait endlessly is. Don’t come here, they don’t care. I filled out a complaint online and nothing, so it’s not just the location, corporate doesn’t care either. Not sure why this is being labeled as «not recommended» by Unilocal,I suppose it was because it was my only review? Well the complete lack of brains by those heading up this joke of a business inspired me to start an account. I have since reviewed other restaurants to prove I am in fact real, this is in fact a genuine review of one of the most awfully run businesses I have ever encountered. If you don’t believe me, just call them, ask for the manager, and ask them if their policy does in fact prevent them from informing people that their bathroom is out of order. It’s real. When I called they offered me a free sandwich BUT only at that location. Well I live in Denver and will not be driving there just for a free sandwich. FREETHISPOSTING, LETTHEPEOPLEKNOW!

The defining characteristic of this Jimmy John’s is the loud music. It’s not painfully loud, but it’s loud enough to affect every aspect of the operation. The cashier can’t hear the customers’ orders. The sandwich makers can’t hear the instructions from the cashier. The customers can’t hear each other well enough to converse. The sandwiches are typical JJ: good enough to make JJ fans happy, but pretty unexciting for people who’ve experienced a good deli. Seating is fixed, so the largest group that can be accommodated is 8 people(at one very oddly shaped bar-table). Napkins are kept behind the counter, so if you make a mess, you face the further embarrassment of standing in line and asking for more napkins. Straws are hidden around the corner from the soda machine. The perpetually-perplexed staff range in age from about 17 to 19 but they seem adequately trained. I’d still visit this place when I’m in a big hurry and I’m not in the mood for a burger. Access is fast, the service is fast, and the food is edible. This review is based on approximately 4 visits from 2011 – 2013.

Terrible service! You can order 1 simple sandwich & you will receive something completely different. We get so tired of driving back to get our money returned… but note that they don’t return the tax. It is seemingly run by people who can’t do even the most simple job. I’d recommend another location.

I have hit several Jimmy Johns in Omaha. This one is currently my least favorite. Don’t get me wrong — the sandwich I ordered(a #5 Vito) tasted fine. The service — it was so fast you’ll freak. What was missing was the people angle. When I eat at the JJ’s on Farnam or 30th, the people are more cheerful, more engaging, and make a slightly better sandwich. What do I mean by slightly better? Boy, how do you define that in a chain store? Everything should be the same, right? But it isn’t. The shops look the same, it’s just the sandwiches at the Farnam or 30th locations are just a little better. A little thicker, maybe a little longer — I guess I’ll have to try to take a tape measure in with me, and see exactly what it is.

love the sandwiches when I don’t get stale/hard bread. What I don’t like is when they stock their chips. They take them all off the rack and put the new ones in back… which is the right way… but when you take the chips off the rack in front… DONOTPUTTHEMONTHEFLOOR!

I really don’t have a problem with the sandwiches here or at any JJ location. Sure, you always have a 50⁄50 shot at getting stale bread but that is expected. The problem here is that every single time I order a sandwich THEY ask me if I want hot peppers — which I do. And EVERYTIME they charge me for them and don’t put them on. This is so frustrating. If I call they send me free sandwich cards but I don’t want a free sandwich made wrong, I just want the sandwich ANDPEPPERS that I pay for made correctly.
