One of my favorite places to shop. Have found Italian designer shoes, tablecloths, centerpieces and dishes. Helpful staff too,

This is apparently the HQ of Goodwill in Omaha, moving to North 72nd Street a few years ago after closing it’s location near 42nd and Pacific streets.
Besides the occasional shirt or random item, I usually don’t have good luck here. I probably just need to stop by more often. That said, this location is typically pretty busy and picked over. And like other Goodwills, prices are a little higher than smaller thrift chains and it is poorly organized.
That doesn’t mean I won’t keep stopping by every once in a while because it’s the random trips you seem to find those treasures. Plus, they even have a coffee shop, snack bar and internet café. I’m pro community outreach, for sure.

I picked up a VCR for around $ 8 and some VHS tapes for 0.99 each. The service was okay and most things were overpriced for what you were getting. I was allowed to return the VCR within 7 days if it stopped working and they let me plug it in at the register for a quick test.
