i was just checking out Westroads when DSW place lured me in. i had managed to stay out of DSW when i lived in the KC Metro area mostly because i was concerned of the quality not with them but another«chain» i spent a lot on a pair of shoes that fell apart. plus i get lazy. having to park and go in a store when i have shoes well– i have to be in the mood. i noticed the quality shoes and brands on display and they hooked me. see, its true what they say about women and shoes. no matter how many pair we have in our closet the lure of the really nice but good buy shoes we do not own calls out to us to buy me NOW and fill that spot on the shoe cabinet. see i just opened when i moved i got rid of «old» shoes including ones i didn’t like as much, now trying to limit the shoes i needed but i needed a pair of non winter comfy walking shoes and the best time to buy them is in the winter right? i found a lovely comfy pair at a reasonable price and they allowed me to walk in them back and forth until i was satisfied that they weren’t going to suddenly rip skin off my feet(its happened) they have handbags and other accessories that looked quite nice. since i am not so much a handbag person unless my favorite one i carry that holds everything needs replacing i was able to ignore that area. shoes however are another story especially when they have shoes that i could see myself wearing. i like how they had the boxes neatly lined up with the different sizes of the shoe. i liked the many shoe«ottomans» and many mirrors they had to show you in your latest find. i liked the fact that they had so many choices. in general i will keep DSW shoe warehouse in mind. good prices, nice helpers, good selection. good quality. very pleased

I love this place and buy all my shoes here. Firstly, this location is inside Westroads mall on the bottom floor by the escalators. I have to give them credit, it’s a fairly organized, well laid out store. It’s large in size and friendly to those in a wheelchair. The people who work there are also very sweet and helpful. Along the backside of the store you’ll notice racks with a bunch of different shoes, This is their clearance section and you can find a heck of a deal here. For example, full price my shoes were almost $ 100 but I got them for $ 40 because they were last years model… they look exactly the same to this years model. I know this because I went and found the new one. So what if my shoe says 6 instead of 7 at the end of them? Not only is the clearance section huge for both men and women but their regular selection of shoes is pretty good too. I can save at least $ 20 on shoes compared to other stores and online prices. I have big feet, it’s a fact of life folks and as such I buy men’s shoes. I love the fact they don’t look«too manly» and they fit perfectly. I also think the men’s shoes are made better quality than women’s, but that is just my opinion. Lastly they have this program you can sign up for to receive coupons, even though I gave them my information I’ve never received anything from them? I can’t say anything to their return policy as I’ve never returned my shoes but I do know sales are final on the clearance items.
