Love CVS. Have never had any bad luck & seems much cleaner than Walgreens.

Well … I have been there three times, and for me, CVS has struck out. Enticed with coupons, my husband and I decided to check it out. They have a fairly small parking lot, and parking was difficult on a busy Saturday morning. Once inside, things were a bit discombobulated. We of course needed another discount store card to use our coupons(cause we all need another one stuffed into our wallets — not!) and no one seemed to know how to do this and no one was around to offer advice. Upon checking out, our total seemed high and we had to show the clerk two discrepancies on advertised sale items, and even one of our coupons($ 10 off) had not scanned. The line was too long to transfer a prescription as only one employee was there to help. We returned the next day, but with a full parking lot decided to come back yet another time. Once finally completed, it took three days to fill the prescription and when I went to pick it up, I was told that my total for my new prescription(that cost a mere $ 4 at Target) was $ 28. I was in shock. When I informed them the cost of the previous prescription, I was told they don’t carry generics. I asked why I wasn’t informed of that upon the transfer of the script and the employee shrugged her shoulders. I should not have paid, and am now thinking of taking it back. I feel that CVS lured people in with their big coupons and I am not impressed at all. I will stick with Walgreens and Target — thank you.
